Red Velvet Songs Ranked
Red Velvet (Korean: 레드벨벳; RR: Redeubelbet) is a South Korean girl group formed and managed by SM Entertainment. They originally debuted on August 1, 2014, with the single “Happiness” with the four-member line-up of Irene, Seulgi, Wendy and Joy. A fifth member, Yeri, joined the group in March 2015, following the release of their first mini album, Ice Cream Cake. Musically, the work of Red Velvet reflects their own group name: their predominantly pop “red” side experiments occasionally with electronic, funk and hip hop, while their “velvet” side focuses on ’90s-influenced R&B with elements of ballad and jazz. Their genre versatility and hooks have garnered critical praise. Here are all of Red Velvet songs ranked.

1o. Red Flavour (The Red Summer, 2017)
“The fact that this song is still talked about and listened to today and showing up on Korean music charts, exactly four years later since its release, shows how powerful this song is in general. Red Velvet’s songs are to be remembered for the ages.”
9. Peek-A-Boo (Perfect Velvet, 2017)
“It’s probably my favorite of their “Velvet” songs (and that’s tough when you’re going up Body Talk and Bad Boy) It is so awesome! I love their vocals in it. It’s so slow and alluring. The MV was also creative, even though they basically kill a pizza boy”
8. Happiness (Happiness, 2014)
“Red Velvet has no ugly song. All of their songs are bop! The only group who have a different concepts /genre every time they release a new song.”

7. One of These Nights (The Velvet, 2016)
“Do you know what’s sadder than the song itself? It’s that so many people ignore this heartfelt, beautiful, and amazing song. One of the most underrated and underappreciated masterpieces.”
6. Russian Roulette (The Velvet, 2016)
“This music video was VERY good and high tech. I love Red Velvet so much because they make great music like this. I really hope they keep up the great work! After all, the Russian Roulette mv was very enjoyable.”
5. Be Natural (Be Natural, 2014)
“You know their version is almost identical to S.E.S’s I mean they matched the vocals perfectly. also I love how they kept the girls in suits concept but added a sensual and smooth chair dance to it.”

4. Automatic (Ice Cream Cake, 2015)
“THIS is still one of their best, if not the BEST song of Red Velvet! it is so classy and timeless and it will never get boring. Kingdom Come to me has similar vibes, but will never give me the same satisfaction Automatic gives. It’s absolutely a great song not only because of it’s simple yet powerful r&b sound, but the wonderful harmonization, vocals and visuals of our girls make it complete.”
3. Ice Cream Cake (Ice Cream Cake, 2015)
“I love it! It’s so catchy, and also, it was very important for Red Velvet, since it was Yeri’s debut. And it’s just such a cute and cool song, and the MV is really cool.”
2. Dumb Dumb (The Red, 2015)
“The vocals, choreo, outfits, mv, everything is awesome. I love how they are sticking with this kind of “quirky colourful out of the box style” for the group. Its crazy to think that they are a ROOKIE group. To be honest, i don’t see them as a rookie group.”
1. Bad Boy (The Perfect Red Velvet, 2018)
“I’ve never noticed the car honking sound and the siren bc of how they are sort of interpreting those sounds at the same time the sounds are playing in the background as always im amazed by red velvet”
