6. Pink Punch
“I think that it’s good that people are splitting between their favorite song, which means the album is even better! most of the time, with debut albums and comebacks I find that there is usually only two good songs, not always but it is very common that the b-sides lack, or the b-sides being better than the title track!”
5. Ring Ring – Special Message
“Ring Ring taps into the retro trend. But while we have heard numerous songs of this style in just this the first half of 2021, I have to admit that Ring Ring actually comes off as quite wholesome and likeable.”
4. Red Punch
“I think the reason why “Girl Friend” isn’t played much at the album preview because it is too powerful, like that chorus though! This song really deserves the 2nd MV of their comeback!”
3. Blue Punch
“It would have been better if the title song had been changed to Twinkle Star instead of Juicy… In fact, I have laid out the entire title track to connect with the intro. But it’s funny to pay homage to the 6th track Illionaire hahaha Rocket Punch is also Illionaire kids”
2. Bubble Up!
“Bubble Up! is Rocket Punch’s adorable debut Japanese single capturing the excitement of infatuation as a bubble of joy growing so large it could burst at any moment. A cute back and forth between chords and reverbed woodblock melody begin and we launch straight to a peak into the chorus B section as four members alternate endearing ‘nana na na-s’ and the group ooh, bubble up up!.”
1. Yellow Punch
“After RingRing.Woollim finally found the Newtro song is the most suitable for Rocket Punch. (and i love it! I miss a newtro sound in k-pop so much.) It’s a something different and something new for the girlgroup in this gen.”
