The group consists of thirteen members: S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino. They debuted on May 26, 2015, with the EP 17 Carat. Seventeen performs as one group, and the members are divided into three units, each with a different area of specialization: ‘Hip-Hop Unit’, ‘Vocal Unit’, and ‘Performance Unit’. Since its debut, Seventeen has released three studio albums and twelve EPs. Seventeen is considered a “self-producing” idol group, with the members being actively involved in songwriting, choreographing, and other aspects of their music and performances. The group has often been labeled as “Performance Kings”, “Theater Kids of K-Pop”, and “K-Pop Performance Powerhouse’” by various domestic and international media outlets. 10. Adore U (17 Carat, 2015)
“Seventeen is like a group with JYP type visuals and bright personality, SM quality vocals and dance, and YG quality rap and self-produced skills. A perfect group”
9. Home (You Made My Dawn, 2019)
“This song is really like a home for me – but more comfy than my real home. I’m moving out of this house where I grew up with my family in a few days and I’m so nervous but I feel like I can go back and find comfort in this “home” when I feel like this again.”
8. Don’t Wanna Cry (Al1, 2017)
“This song hits really different right now. Little did I know that this song could make me cry harder than I expected. And the fact that Wonwoo is the one who sing the most heartbreaking lyrics”

7. Very Nice (Love & Letter, 2016)
“This song never won a music show award. But years have passed and Aju Nice is still thriving. Only proves one doesn’t need an award or recognition to be considered legendary.”
6. HOME;RUN (Semicolon, 2020)
“Seventeen always produce songs that are exceptional! They don’t sound similar to any song because they make and produce everything from scratch! They make their own and not just get any samples! They are the samples lmao! SEVENTEEN is literally the best.”
5. 24H (24H, 2020)
“This song is amazing, the boys are so elegant and beautiful especially s.coups, wonwoo and vernon i loved the scenery it all looked so interesting and enjoyable to watch. This is definitely one of their best songs”

4. Kidult (Heng:garæ, 2020)
“This song is very different than any other ballad svt’s songs.. it’s just comforting but makes you cry at the same time, idk if this makes sense or not. but i feel like, this song is for those who feel so tired being an adult yet everyone counts on you for being an adult, and for those who are struggling in their life for being an adult.”
3. Left & Right (Heng:garæ, 2020)
“Thus song is so catchy. The first song that pops into my mind when asked what’s the best song about seventeen eventhough I am not much into seventeen but definitely like to know more and more about them”
2. Lie Again (An Ode, 2019)
“This song is just so sad. You can really feel it deep in your heart, even as someone who hasn’t had my heart broken by someone before. This is my favorite song in An Ode album.”
1. Together (Heng:garæ, 2020)
“Why is it always like this? Everytime seventeen comes back with a new album it’s always new, always something different that you’d expect that maybe you wouldn’t like the new songs but every time I’m always proven wrong, their songs are ALWAYS a joy to hear to, always so fresh, so…. Happy. Their songs always makes me happy and they give out different messages with each song that you’d wonder “what things have they gone through?” I’m thoroughly convinced that seventeen does have THE best b-side tracks for the simple fact that it gives me comfort and happiness. I hope seventeen’s songs get to reach more people.”
