SF9 Songs Ranked
SF9 (Korean: 에스에프나인; shortened from Sensational Feeling 9) is a South Korean boy band formed by FNC Entertainment and the company’s first dance boy group. Consisting of nine members, the group debuted on October 5, 2016 with the release of their first single album, Feeling Sensation. The group first performed in Japan on December 11, 2015. The group had consisted of 11 members at that time. In May 2016, they participated as “NEOZ Dance” in FNC Entertainment’s survival show d.o.b (Dance or Band), competing against NEOZ Band (later known as Honeyst). They later won the show with their first song “K.O.”, which was later featured in the Feeling Sensation single album. They were renamed SF9 in August. Here are all of SF9 albums ranked. 9. Savior (Savior, 2021)
“I hope FNC will take this into consideration. SF9 needs more songs like this. They slayed. They annihilated this concept. This was powerful”
8. Trauma (RUMINATION, 2021)
“Feeling just eh on this one, but it’ll fit nice on the groovy playlist. I don’t think it has quite enough energy for a dance playlist though. It’s nice hearing the rappers get a bit more spotlight, but divorced from that excellent “Move” stage, “male version of Venus” just makes me giggle like a thirteen-year-old.”
7. Tear Drop (TURN OVER, 2021)
“As soon as I heard the twinkling synths, I thought, ooooh, Nick’s not gonna dig this (ref: the beginning of spring). This feels like a sequel to now or never though not quite as potent. For me, the dancefloor groove is cool, and I hoped so much for a more melodic post chorus like that of the one that elevated now or never, but I guess I’m just kind of satisfied with the final output.”

6. Shine Together (SPECIAL HISTORY BOOK, 2020)
“It’s a rather pleasant experience to the ears, honestly. I’m reminded of those pop ballads from the early 2010s or older than that. I think it’s pretty solid to stand on its own. I don’t have anything to say about it rather than it’s nice. Though they can do better than that, this one’s pretty much enough.”
5. Go High (GOLDEN ECHO, 2020)
“Melodically, there’s not much to Go High. A grand, inventive chorus would have sent this track soaring. Instead, the song anchors itself with a layered, wordless refrain followed by a posturing chant. The result is exciting and fits the vibe of the track, but feels like a bit of a missed opportunity.”
4. Summer Breeze (GOLDEN ECHO, 2020)
“The beat at the very start has such an indian classical music vibe to it.. I knew I would love the song even from the preview. A very strong title track. This track really goes well with Good Guy, so much so that I thought this comeback was a repackage! I really enjoyed this but it would’ve been nice if some parts had more impact.”

3. Good Guy (FIRST COLLECTION, 2020)
“As per usual with SF9 for me, the title track is very nice but the good stuff is in the B-Sides. The album has multiple gems. ‘Like the Hands Held Tight’, ‘Am I the Only One’, ‘Fire’, ‘One Love’, and ‘Shh’ are all top tier tracks for me.”
2. RPM (RPM, 2019)
“RPM has two other title-track worthy bops: Dreamer and See U Tomorrow and I wondered why FNC wouldn’t choose either one of them as title track. The arrangement and the energy from the two songs is just amazing.”
1. Enough (Illuminate, 2019)
“This is actually very different from their usual mvs which have a lot of colour and stuff. But actually the dark theme and lighting of the song is to portray the twisted nature of narcissism which they depicted very well through the mv .They even integrated the greek story of narcissus into this mv and I love the part where a flower is placed near the water ( 1:23 ) which is actually connected to the original story of narcissus.”
