Shadowman unveil haunting debut single ‘Flowers’

Shadowman, the new collaborative force of John J Presley, Ben Hillier, and Danielle Perry, emerge with their debut single ‘Flowers’, a brooding and cinematic piece that marks the beginning of something truly distinctive. Built from post-rock atmospherics, swirling synths, and motorik drum machines, the track blends emotional intensity with sonic experimentation.

Written in a flash of inspiration after a fleeting, emotionally charged encounter, the track features Pete Wareham on saxophone and was engineered by Dan Crook, with a visual accompaniment directed by Laura-Mary Cater (The Thrill of Losing).

‘Flowers’ introduces Shadowman’s free-form ethos as a raw, collaborative process that embraces tension, spontaneity, and sound without borders.
