Sia Songs Ranked
Sia Kate Isobelle Furler (born 18 December 1975) is an Australian singer, songwriter, voice actress, and director. She started her career as a singer in the acid jazz band Crisp in the mid-1990s in Adelaide. In 1997, when Crisp disbanded, she released her debut studio album, titled OnlySee, in Australia. She moved to London, England, and provided vocals for the British duo Zero 7. Sia released her second studio album, Healing Is Difficult, in 2000, and her third studio album, Colour the Small One, in 2004. In 2014, Sia broke through as a solo recording artist when her sixth studio album, 1000 Forms of Fear, debuted at No 1 in the U.S. Billboard 200 and generated the top-ten single “Chandelier” and a trilogy of music videos co-directed by Sia and starring child dancer Maddie Ziegler. Since then, Sia has usually worn a wig that obscures her face to protect her privacy. Her seventh studio album, This Is Acting (2016), spawned her first Billboard Hot 100 number one single, “Cheap Thrills”. The same year, Sia gave her Nostalgic for the Present Tour, which incorporated dancing by Ziegler and others and other performance art elements. Her eighth studio album, Everyday Is Christmas, was released in 2017 and reissued in 2018 with three bonus tracks. In 2018, she collaborated with Labrinth and Diplo in the group LSD, and they released their self-titled debut album in April 2019. Here are all of Sia songs ranked.

20. Big Girls Cry (1000 Forms of Fear, 2014)
“Music is awesome, but the lyrics are destructively strong and touching. Sia does have one of the most pleasuring voices I have ever heard.”
19. Broken Glass (This Is Acting, 2016)
“From the opening, jing-jangly chords to the lyrics to Sia’s pleading delivery is perfect! When she hit those key changes I cried my eyes out- never cried so hard. This song made me fall in love with her…and I went out to buy all the Sia albums I could find. But nothing really comes close to this one.”
18. I’m in Here (We Are Born, 2010)
“A very emotional song that I can relate to in many ways, also one of Sia’s best songs. It’s such an emotional song that has a very mysterious and cool melody”
17. My Love (Baby Cat, 2006)
“When I’m listening to it sometimes I wanna cry. And I wouldn’t say it is bad it’s right opposite, it’s the proof her music is with deep meaning and she has put her soul in it”

16. Buttons (Some People Have Real Problems, 2008)
“I think of it like she might be talking to her family. That maybe they disapprove of her new boyfriend, just like they did the last time. She’s starting to get paranoid and crazy from all of the criticism and wants them to all leave it alone. Also, it may not be about a person but about a life dream.”
15. Guts Over Fear (Shady Classics: Mixtape, 2014)
“It is hit. It has a lot of views on YouTube. I am a huge Eminem fan since he released Infinity and I can say this is one of his best songs and also Sia’s best song after titanium”
14. Eye of the Needle (1000 Forms of Fear, 2014)
“I think this song is about a relationship that has just ended, or is ending. She says she’s not ready to move on, so she doesn’t wanna get over him. She still loves him no matter what. He always has that place in her heart. I dunno. Just what I got from the lyrics.”
13. Soon We’ll Be Found (Some People Have Real Problems, 2008)
“That voice kills me every time. She has started singing it on her tour again and sings it better than ever – so strong. I love her song-writing here. It’s so raw and natural. Some people have real problems is a brilliant album.”
12. Wild Ones (Wild Ones, 2012)
“I think it’s a great song. I love tracks that have Sia collaborating with other artists, she sings Titanium on the David Guetta album and it is one of my favorite songs. I love the lyrics she sings on both tracks. Honestly, it was her voice and her part of the song that made me interested and buy it in the first place, even though I do like a couple of Flo Rida’s other songs as well.”
11. Unstoppable (This Is Acting, 2016)
“This makes me think how strong I really am even though half the time I don’t know how strong I am until I listen to this song. This is honestly one of the best Sia songs. The lyrics are so inspirational and it shows off her great vocal range.”
10. She Wolf (Nothing but the Beat, 2011)
“Love Sia and her song writing! This is so powerful and yet no one hears it. That’s good in some ways so we never get tired of it! Such a lively song. Makes me wanna stop what I’m doing and start jumping.”
9. Bird Set Free (This Is Acting, 2016)
“The prechorus truly defines the feeling of a person in deep depression specially the steel voiced line…”I don’t wanna die” and the chorus defines the pride she takes in her freedom”
8. Fire Meet Gasoline (1000 Forms of Fear, 2014)
“It’s the best song from her. Every word every sentence and every rhythm are beautifully emotional. This song makes me wanna cry Beautiful melody, powerful lyrics what else is required.”
7. The Greatest (The Greatest, 2016)
“No one could have sung it like Sia… Her voice pumps me up in this song. The emotion in The Greatest is astonishing. I love Sia and her songs and I think that the main dancer, Maddie Ziegler choice for cast and was exceptional..

6. Alive (Alive, 2015)
“Anyone who has been through depression after someone you loved betrayed can relate to this song. You feel you won’t ever feel happy again but one day you look back and realize that as Sia sings that person took it all but you are still breathing, you’re alive. And you have a life to live and fight for.”
5. Breathe Me (Colour the Small One, 2004)
“Still remember the summer I discovered this song. Remember listening to it the first day back at high school, absolutely gutted so I was haha – perfect song to soak up the sadness. In all seriousness though, this is a go to song for me as I find it really soothing.”
4. Titanium (Nothing but the Beat, 2011)
“David Guetta is outstanding on all levels; music, musician, quality of sound, quality of final published product. The price of this product is well worth the money spent. He performs several variations of the song Titanium, each one excellent recording.”
3. Cheap Thrills (This Is Acting, 2016)
“It’s always good to find a song that relates more to the people who buy the music than it does to the people who create/produce it. Cheap Thrills is about having fun and living life through inexpensive events like dancing and feeling the music. No money needed. Greg Kurstin did a good job of producing.”
2. Elastic Heart (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, 2013)
“This song is so beautiful and the video clip is a powerful work of art. Putting gender aside we see ‘two Sia’s’ battle it out as they try desperately to escape the cage. There is mirror movement yet such contrast in their dance. In the end, only the young innocent Sia can break free leaving the savage, angry Sia within. Music these days no longer seems to capture me emotionally, but there is something about this song, something that is so heart-wrenching, listening has become an addiction. Once you experience it you will crave this song and video clip the way you crave the air you breathe.”
1. Chandelier (Voices, 2014)
“Chandelier is amazing. This song shows so much emotion and the lyrics tell an amazing story. Sia’s voice is so powerful. Her voice shows so much emotion. A revolutionary song with a powerful and important meaning, as well as amazing vocals.”
