15. Livin’ on a Chain Gang (Slave to the Grind, 1991)
“So, Skid Row is one more US silly-hairy-glam-metal band, eh? No way! This is SKID ROW now for me. Glam-zilla, a big deal. Slave is an assault and in your face hard rock in its 90s version! Fantastic good album with the stunning Sebastian Bach soulful voice. “
14. Riot Act (Slave to the Grind, 1991)
“No matter which musical territory Skid Row cover, they do it with passion, skill, and conviction. Sebastian Bach delivers a great vocal performance, the guitars are raw and edgy and the guitar solos blistering. To top it off Skid Row features a tight and organic sounding rhythm section, which successfully drive the music forward. The dark, organic, and heavy sound production are very well sounding too and suits the music perfectly.”
13. Big Guns (Skid Row, 1989)
“This is good stuff, and lots of at least semi subtle innuendo. Baz paints a pretty full picture of this woman, even down to her red hair. And her carpet matches her drapes. How else do you go down in flames?”
12. New Generation (Thickskin, 2003)
“Very good album in general, with a lot of attitude, certainly revolutionary, especially considering the difficulties that the scene was experiencing at that time, although somewhat lacking in elegance and musical neatness for my taste.”

11. Rattlesnake Shake (Skid Row, 1989)
“Skid Row is a band that might not be as popular as some of the other glam metal bands, but I would have to say that their self-titled album is one of the better glam metal releases of all time. I would highly recommend this if you want some hard rock from the 80s with none of the candy.”
10. Shut Up Baby, I Love You (Revolutions per Minute, 2006)
“The material are well composed and basically vers/chorus structured rock´n´roll played with a bit more distortion and attitude than usual. That relatively simple approach to writing and playing music works wonders here though because the tracks are as memorable and well played/sung as they are. “
9. Zero Day (Rise of the Damnation Army (United World Rebellion: Chapter 2), 2014)
“One of the greatest things that happened to glam metal was the onset of grunge. Not because grunge destroyed glam metal (but it did; really, it was an overnight coup in the popular rock music industry), but because grunge forced the glam metal lot to clean up their act (or, by grunge’s standards, to make their act imperfect and ditch the posh) or get the boot.”
8. Quicksand Jesus (Slave to the Grind, 1991)
“One of the most epic songs to come out of the 90’s. The power of the guitars combined with Sebastian’s howling vocals make this a rare gem. I almost feel like I’m in a trance when I listen to this one. It’s just got so much raw power to it. Sebastian also holds one of the most unbelievable high note for what feels like eternity.”
7. Monkey Business (Slave to the Grind, 1991)
“One of my favorite Skid Row songs. Great vocals and a blast to play! Their performance on SNL with this song and piece of me is outstanding!”
6. Slave to the Grind (Slave to the Grind, 1991)
“Excellent opening riff, amazing lyrics and brilliant life song Such a heavy song, the guitar alone will blow the roof off! Crank it up and you’ll see what I mean.”
5. In a Darkened Room (Slave to the Grind, 1991)
“Sebastian shows off his full range in this song-the mid section scream that goes into the chorus in one breath is awesome! Who ever calls this song boring has no appreciation for great tuneage. And that opening lead guitar, beautiful! Sets the tone what’s about to follow.”

4. Wasted Time (Slave to the Grind, 1991)
“There’s one thing that there isn’t on other Skid’s song, that’s touching vocals, Sebastian really did a great job with this song, along with the simple but great solo, and the great 12-stringed Guitar chords. This song was played and singed with a great energy and Sebastian and Dave put their best on this song. Somehow, this song itself isn’t what makes it the best, what makes it the best is the band energy and emotion playing’ this song”
3. I Remember You (Skid Row, 1989)
“Excellent song on their very first album: skid row. Brilliant song that reminds me of the time that I’d listen to this on my walkman. And out of all the songs that I remember, I remember you are the song I remember the most.”
2. Youth Gone Wild (Skid Row, 1989)
“This one’s the anthem of an entire generation growing up in the 80s. Not only is it Skid Row’s best song, it’s one of the best of rock anthems ever.”
1. 18 and Life (Skid Row, 1989)
“IN MY OPINION…this song is the greatest song of all time…yes I said it..and here’s why…it had the best combination of meaning and a great tune to listen to even if u don’t pay attention to the lyrics…most songs is either one or the other…now I know there are other songs that have both…but to me, this song just touches you in a way that no other song does, because of the huge life lesson involved that so many kids fall for…a young person could actually change after listening/watching the video…plus, like I said, its just a great song to listen to, tune wise, to put you in a good mood as well…”
