SLEAZE deliver new single ‘Push Tuck’

South London’s gloriously unhinged glam-punk outfit SLEAZE are stepping out of the underground shadows and into the spotlight with their new release ‘Push Tuck’, via Agent Anonyme Recordings.

If you’ve wandered the sticky-floored pubs of south London, you might have seen their shirts (“POST PUB KEBAB SHOP GLAM ROCK,” “SLEAZE PLEAZE”) or caught their wild live sets echoing the lawless spirit of Fat White Family and Warmduscher.

Frontman Dave Ashby describes ‘Push Tuck’ as the band’s ultimate set-opener, a snarling, Stooges-meets-Dr. Feelgood strut about either slotting in or smashing your way through the world’s expectations. With lines like “I wanna be forgotten / I ain’t no Johnny Rotten,” and surreal nods to smoked salmon, Ashby’s lyrics are as sharp as they are sly.
