SLEAZE share defiant new single ‘People Have The Strength (To Turn The Tide)’ ahead of debut album

Fresh from a UK tour with Insecure Men, South London outfit SLEAZE return with their latest single ‘People Have The Strength (To Turn The Tide)’, taken from their debut album SLEAZE PLEAZE, arriving June 12, 2026 via Agent Anonyme Recordings.

Written during a restless stint in Bristol, the new track reflects frontman Dave Ashby’s frustration with contemporary Britain. Sparked by isolation and informed in part by a documentary about Ireland’s Direct Provision system for asylum seekers, the song channels personal unease into a broader social commentary. The result is a rallying cry rooted in everyday reality.

Produced by Malcolm Doherty at RAK Studios, the single follows last year’s Push Tuck / Daffodils and Universal Adaptor. With SLEAZE PLEAZE, the band aim to capture the volatility and romance of their live shows, balancing swaggering rockers with moments of bruised introspection.
