Soft Mothers unveil dynamic new single ‘American Courtesy’

San Antonio-based alternative rock band Soft Mothers have released their latest single ‘American Courtesy’, a powerful blend of raw energy, introspective lyricism, and emotionally charged indie-rock. Mastered by legendary producer Will Yip—renowned for his work with Turnstile, PUP, Circa Survive, and Tigers Jaw—the track delivers a polished yet visceral sound that captures the essence of Soft Mothers’ evolving style.

Influenced by the late ’90s and early 2000s post-hardcore scene, Soft Mothers combines melodic bass lines, thunderous drums, minimalist guitar work, and infectious vocals to create a sound that is both nostalgic and fresh. Originally a solo project, the band has grown into a collaborative effort featuring various Texas-based artists, adding depth and diversity to their music.

“We’re incredibly proud to share American Courtesy with the world,” the band shares. “Having someone like Will Yip bring the final touches to the track has elevated it to its full potential, and we can’t wait for listeners to connect with it.”
