Soft No announce new EP Super Neutral and share single ‘Oxford Street’
Philadelphia indie outfit Soft No have announced their forthcoming EP Super Neutral, alongside the lead single ‘Oxford Street’.
Following their debut release, the five-piece took a new approach to writing, opting for more collaborative sessions and a faster, more energetic direction. The result is a five-track collection that pushes beyond their earlier shoegaze leanings into a more urgent and guitar-driven sound.
‘Oxford Street’ introduces this shift, combining layered synth textures with sharp guitar lines and expressive vocals. The track carries a sense of momentum while maintaining the band’s emotional core, blending melodic structure with a raw edge.
Recorded at Headroom Studios with Mark Watter, the EP also involved additional pre-production work, marking a more refined and intentional process.
Since forming in 2022, Soft No have built steady traction through consistent live performances and early critical support. Super Neutral represents a clear evolution, capturing a band expanding both their sound and creative identity.
