soft siren deliver their dream-drenched new single ‘Low’

Los Angeles-based dream pop trio soft siren, a collaboration between Sidewalks and Skeletons, CASHFORGOLD, and Michael Coe (Count The Clock), emerge from the haze with their hypnotic new single ‘Low’, the first taste of their forthcoming debut album.

Blending trip hop grooves, shoegaze textures, and 90s alt-rock distortion, ‘Low’ feels like spiralling through a dream: sultry, surreal, and steeped in longing. Opening with a snarling grunge riff that melts into ethereal vocals and swirling reverb, the track builds into a vast cinematic soundscape, equal parts Mazzy Star melancholy and Sneaker Pimps-style shadowplay.

Lyrically, ‘Low’ wrestles with postmodern alienation and digital selfhood, evoking the existential ache of constructing identity through the eyes of others. It’s a cry for help wrapped in beauty, a descent into the self with no clear way out.
