Stellar Ruins share new single ‘Sunless’ to close out latest album era

Oxnard, California trio Stellar Ruins have released their new single ‘Sunless’, marking the final addition to their recent album Endless Dystopic Misery, which arrived in February.

Recorded in March 2026 with longtime collaborator Armand John Anthony at Captain’s Quarters Studio in Ventura, the track serves as both a closing chapter and a preview of what’s to come from the band.

‘Sunless’ blends elements of alternative metal and nu-metal with the band’s established dream-rock and shoegaze influences, creating a heavier yet atmospheric sound. The track leans into darker, expansive textures while maintaining a strong sense of intensity throughout.

As the final piece of Endless Dystopic Misery, ‘Sunless’ brings the project full circle while hinting at a more evolved and immersive direction for Stellar Ruins moving forward.
