Stockholm’s Clutter drop explosive debut single ‘Jesus’

Hotly tipped Stockholm-based quartet Clutter have unveiled the official music video for their debut 7” single ‘Jesus’, now available via PNKSLM Recordings. The track, which pairs grungy, post-hardcore-inspired guitars with existential lyrical themes, introduces the band’s unrelenting and cacophonous sound—an echo of their evocative name.

Led by singer and guitarist Emma French, ‘Jesus’ captures Clutter’s raw energy and introspective edge. The band describes the track as “an indie rock song about everything and nothing and the things in between,” showcasing their ability to balance heavy sonic elements with thought-provoking lyrical ideas.

The accompanying video for Jesus leans into a gritty, early 2000s aesthetic, embracing its DIY roots with a playful twist. Shot entirely in a single day by director Majken Bergman, the video features a classic band-in-a-white-studio setup, offering a simple yet engaging introduction to Clutter.
