Super Junior (Korean: 슈퍼주니어; Syupeo Junieo), also known as SJ or SuJu, is a South Korean boy band formed by Lee Soo-man, the founder of SM Entertainment in 2005. They are also dubbed by the media as the “King of Hallyu Wave” due to their prominent contributions in Korean Wave. Super Junior currently consists of 10 members, consisting of leader Leeteuk, Heechul, Yesung, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun. Originally a 12-piece group before the addition of Kyuhyun in 2006, Han Geng, Kibum, and Kangin departed the band in 2011, 2015 and 2019, respectively. Super Junior was the best-selling K-pop artist for four years in a row. The group has earned thirteen music awards from the Mnet Asian Music Awards, nineteen from the Golden Disc Awards, and are the second singing group to win Favorite Artist Korea at the 2008 MTV Asia Awards after 2003. In 2012, they were nominated for “Best Asian Act” in MTV Europe Music Awards. They won the “International Artist” and “Best Fandom” awards at the 2015 Teen Choice Awards. In March 2020, Super Junior broke their own record topping the Korean Album Chart of Taiwan’s KKBOX for 122 consecutive weeks since 2017 with their 8th album Play, the 8th album repackage REPLAY in 2018, the 9th album Time_Slip from 2019, and 9th album repackage Timeless. 9. Super Junior 05

“The track “Rock This House” was the song that got me addicted to them. Besides this track, you also have their debut track “Twins(Knockout),” and 2nd single “Miracle.” This album has a total of 11 tracks, with 10 of them being songs and 1 of them being an instrumental track. The album cover and case is really cute too, I can’t stop looking at at it. All in all, an awesome album from one of South Korea’s best boybands EVER.”

8. Sexy, Free

“The CD art showcases one of the empty cubes. It has 10 songs with a running time of 35 minutes. Including the title track the other standouts are From U, Gulliver, Butterfly and A’Goodbye. This album contains a good mix of music styles and in my opinion the only track that was difficult to warm up to was Rockstar.”

“This isn’t Super Junior’s best album by any means, but this version also has a DVD with lots of great content including music videos, interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage. Every SuJu collector should own this album.”

“I love this album to death!! I just LOVE this group of talented guys.Just listening to their wonderful & infectious grooves makes me want to dance & sing along. I am so glad I bought this CD. Besides the up-beat tunes & love listening to their ballads & love songs. I don’t understand Korean except for a few *slang or K-drama words. But that doesn’t stop me from singing along with them while I’m listening to this CD.”

“Epic album! This being Super Juniors 7th release is amazing. These guys work hard and keep going, all the while always changing their sound and keeping up with new bands. Regardless of this being older it is still an awesome album. Mamacita is a banger and it will get stuck in your head! Shirt is another bop that has a great dance flow! There is 10 songs on here so it is a full album. All the songs are amazing and have great dance beats.”

“The DVD has 4 different versions of “Mr. Simple and I could watch even more versions if permitted .I love this group and their voices ; but most of all their marvelous dance routines. “I absolutely love this CD! The songs are amazing, as always with Super Junior. I love the variety of sounds on this CD. From the dance songs like “Sorry Sorry”, to the happy pop songs like ” Why I Like You”, from the mushy cuteness of “Happy Together” to the sexy sounds of “She Wants It.” I don’t understand a single word they say, but I still love it! Their voices are amazing. And these boys are not bad to look at by any means.”

“I highly recommend this CD to all fans of music. Even tho it is in Korean it is a fantastic album from start to finish. It has just been this year alone that I had gotten turned on to K-Pop & all of the various artists.I started my collection with the group called SHINee and later fell in love with Super Junior. I have no regrets purchasing this album. it has wonderful songs in all categories!! Up beat or ballads.”
