Tablefox confront inner demons on blistering new single ‘Digging In’

New Zealand alt-rock outfit Tablefox return with their latest single ‘Digging In’—a ferocious, three-minute punch of pop, punk, and hard rock that dives headfirst into the chaos of self-sabotage and inner doubt. Frontman Clinton Bell doesn’t mince words: “The voices in our heads often shape our fears and beliefs.”

The track began with a blistering riff from lead guitarist Matt Carson that immediately lit a spark in the band’s creative process. As the music surged to life, the phrase ‘Digging In’ came to Clinton’s mind unprompted, eventually shaping the song’s central theme—an unflinching look at the destructive narratives we feed ourselves.

Produced by Scott Seabright (Mumford and Sons, Six60, Passenger) and mastered by Steve Smart at Studio 301 (Pink Floyd, Simple Minds), ‘Digging In’ delivers both weight and radio-ready sheen. The result is one of Tablefox’s most urgent and cathartic releases to date.
