Teenage Fanclub announce new album ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’
Following on from the release of their much-loved 2021 LP ‘Endless Arcade’, Teenage Fanclub have now announced their plans for a new studio album, arriving later this year.
The new full-length ‘Nothing Lasts Forever’ is being previewed by the new lead single ‘Foreign Land’, which comes accompanied by a Donald Milne-directed video, and is set to be released on the 22nd September via their own label PeMa in the UK/Europe and Merge in the US.
Speaking about the new offering, the band’s Norman Blake said, “The song is about moving forward, not dwelling on the past. We shot the video in Hamilton Mausoleum, near Glasgow. Given that the album is called Nothing Lasts Forever we thought it would be appropriate to shoot a video inside a tomb”.
