test plan unleash feral new single and video ‘Gone’

London dance-punk trio test plan return with ‘Gone’, a searing new single and chaotic visual. Built on feral improvisation and relentless live energy, the track channels dissonant art-punk into a spiralling breakdown of distortion, static and emotional release.

Produced by Darren Jones (Fat Dog, Gorillaz), ‘Gone’ captures the band’s volatile presence in its rawest form, all snarling guitar textures, punishing rhythm, and Max Mason’s harrowing central cry: “Gone!”

Directed by Mason himself, the video is a visceral trip into surrealism and self-destruction, with references to Olivier de Sagazan and Sergei Parajanov. Covered in clay and paint, Mason becomes a human canvas, while bassist Rory Dickinson’s fruit dissections turn grotesque and symbolic.
