The Blue Van return with new single ‘Out of My Head’ ahead of their 30th anniversary album
Danish rock veterans The Blue Van are back with ‘Out of My Head’, the first single from their upcoming eighth studio album, set for release in January 2026—a record that will mark an incredible 30 years as a band.
Formed in 1996, Steffen Westmark (vocals), Søren Christensen (guitar), Allan Villadsen (bass), and Per Mølgaard Jørgensen (drums) have been playing together since they were 12 years old, building an enduring legacy of authentic, high-energy rock that has seen them play close to 2,000 shows worldwide, including over 200 in the U.S. alone.
‘Out of My Head’ taps into a modern affliction, the tendency to overthink and disconnect from the world around us. The song captures the struggle of being lost in spiraling thoughts, yet also expresses the desire to escape one’s mind and reconnect with life. And what better remedy for that than pure, unfiltered rock?
