The Bohemes unleash new single ‘What Happens When You Press Escape’
Dutch four-piece The Bohemes return with ‘What Happens When You Press Escape’, a jagged, high-energy track that channels the chaos of a night gone sideways with bristle-sharp riffs and a punch of raw emotion.
Following on from the gritty swagger of ‘Always Out At Midnight’, the new single offers another glimpse into the band’s upcoming album. Both tracks were mixed by Barny Barnicott (Arctic Monkeys, Sam Fender) and mastered by Tim Debney (Kasabian, The Libertines), ensuring every hook lands with clarity and grit.
Brothers Gabriël and Léon Huisman (drums and vocals/guitar), alongside guitarist Nigel de Vette and bassist Dex de Fijter, tap into the scrappy spirit of The Jam and The Libertines, but with their own modern bite and reckless charm. Fresh off a Eurosonic showcase earlier this year, The Bohemes are proving themselves one of Europe’s most electric emerging acts.
