The Dahmers summon slasher chaos on new single ‘Nightmare of ’78’

Swedish garage-punk misfits The Dahmers are back from the crypt with ‘Nightmare of ’78’, a hook-laced horror anthem tearing straight out of a VHS bloodbath. Out now via Eerie Sounds, the track explodes with jagged riffs, pounding drums, and a melody so infectious it could raise the dead.

Serving as the first glimpse into their upcoming third album Creature Feature (arriving Friday the 13th of January), ‘Nightmare of ’78’ is pure horror-punk adrenaline. Equal parts Ramones swagger and Misfits menace, it nods to vintage slashers with a grin full of fangs.

Co-produced with Christian Grahn and Johan Gustafsson of The Hives, the single sharpens The Dahmers’ signature blend of grit and glam, the perfect soundtrack for carving pumpkins or raising hell.
