The Jobseekerz announce 32-county tour, drop fresh take on Irish classic ‘Ride On’
Cavan’s high-energy Electric Sham-Rock outfit,The Jobseekerz are set to take their raucous live show across Ireland with a 32-county tour—an ambitious feat not many bands have dared to attempt. Kicking off on March 7th at Henry Loughrans in Navan, the band has dubbed this journey ‘The Mission’, a full-scale run that will see them bring their signature mix of alternative rock, rap, and funk to every corner of the country.
Celebrating 10 years on the road, The Jobseekerz have built a reputation for sweat-drenched performances and a sound that draws comparisons to the Beastie Boys and Red Hot Chili Peppers, all while keeping their distinctly Irish edge. Now, they’re marking the occasion by throwing their weight behind a bold, electrified take on a homegrown classic—‘Ride On’, the Christy Moore favourite about a lovely horse.
The track has already been making waves, and with the band’s unrelenting live energy, it’s set to take on a whole new life across the country. Whether it’s club gigs, festival slots, or sweaty backroom shows, The Jobseekerz deliver a twist-filled set that blends sharp social commentary with pure, unfiltered fun.
With 21 out of 32 counties already booked, the band is well on their way to completing their nationwide takeover—with plans to hit the remaining 11 counties before the year is out. Fans can follow the tour progress and get the latest on venues and ticket info via Spotify and social media.
