The Penske File ignite new chapter with blistering single ‘Dead Maps’

Hamilton punk trio The Penske File charge back into view with ‘Dead Maps’, a furious and fast-paced anthem that kicks off their upcoming album Reprieve, due October 3rd via Stomp Records.

Fuelled by the band’s roots in classic double-time punk, ‘Dead Maps’ is both a nod to their earliest influences and a bold step forward. Guitarist/vocalist Travis Miles describes the song as “an exploration of my own mind, where creative and personal pursuits run along jagged paths in tandem.” The title came from a book, and the metaphor clicked instantly: no destination, just charted chaos.

Urgent, anthemic, and built for the pit, ‘Dead Maps’ sets the tone for Reprieve, The Penske File’s most sonically expansive album yet.
