The Poor Luckies drop scorching new punk anthem ‘Running the Street’

San Francisco punk veterans The Poor Luckies have unleashed a blistering new single ‘Running the Street’, a high-octane shot of fury taken from their long-awaited debut album Wrong Way, due this spring.

Fuelled by frontman Danny Cuts’ personal experiences with aggressive policing and life on the fringes of the city, ‘Running the Street’ is a no-holds-barred punk ripper; all snarling vocals, speeding guitars, and explosive frustration. Written after a string of run-ins with the SFPD, the song channels real rage into a furious, cathartic car-chase of a track.

Recorded at Hollywood Playpen Recorders with Ruddy Cullers, the track sets the tone for Wrong Way, an album shaped by chaos, defiance, and the grit of surviving San Francisco’s punk underground.
