The Pretty Flowers announce new album ‘Never Felt Bitter’, share anthemic lead single ‘Came Back Kicking’

Los Angeles indie-rock outfit The Pretty Flowers have released ‘Came Back Kicking’, the energising first single from their upcoming third album Never Felt Bitter, due March 27, 2026 via Forge Again Records.

The track marks a new chapter for frontman Noah Green, written shortly after his move from Koreatown to Sierra Madre. Reflecting themes of change, identity, and rootedness, ‘Came Back Kicking’ channels the sweeping sonics of Echo & the Bunnymen and The Waterboys, wrapped in the band’s signature blend of melodic grit and emotional heft.

With comparisons to The Replacements and Wilco, but a forward-facing ethos all their own, The Pretty Flowers continue to craft music for outsiders with heart, hooks, and honesty.
