The Pretty Flowers share new single ‘To Be So Cool’ ahead of upcoming album Never Felt Bitter
Los Angeles indie rockers The Pretty Flowers have unveiled their latest single ‘To Be So Cool’, lifted from their forthcoming third album Never Felt Bitter, due March 27, 2026 via Forge Again Records.
Frontman Noah Green describes the track as one of his favourites on the record and a standout in their live set. The song came together instinctively, with lyrics that flowed naturally. Months later, Green noticed unexpected parallels with the cult film Withnail & I, particularly in how one character observes another’s chaotic navigation through life, a connection that adds an extra layer of intrigue to the track’s sharp, reflective edge.
Formed in 2013 and solidified as a four-piece in 2018, The Pretty Flowers have built a reputation for hook-driven, no-frills songwriting and relentless gigging across Southern California and beyond. Their new album channels that road-tested chemistry, shaped by years of playing together and sharpened by a period of uncertainty in Los Angeles.
