The Rose Albums Ranked
The Rose (Korean: 더 로즈) is a South Korean pop rock band formerly under J&Star Company. The band is composed of four members: Kim Woo-sung (vocals, guitar), Park Do-joon (keyboard), Lee Ha-joon (drums), and Lee Jae-hyeong (bass). Prior to its debut with J&Star, the band had long been a popular indie group before making its official mainstream release with “Sorry” on August 3, 2017. Dojoon and Jaehyeong met as the two were busking in Hongdae. Often busy as a DSP Media trainee, Dojoon rarely had the time to meet with Jaehyeong and later confessed on a radio interview that he was not the type to disobey his management company. Jaehyeong started busking with Hajoon later in the year after the two met while practicing in the same studio, and the duo set out in search of another member. Here are all of The Rose albums ranked.

“I love this group and their performances on youtube are beautiful and mesmerizing. Woosung has a voice and face that draws you into the emotion. Their first mini album is satisfying, however, there are a few instrumentals that are enjoyable but I love their voices so find these selections less listened to…”

“The first track, titled “I Don’t Know You,” has The Rose’s signature flavor, recorded at 2:38, with soft rock tones, vocal replacements and intense chorus. The singer sung by the guitar pours his heart into this powerful ballad. Interestingly, there is actually only one choir. “She’s In The Rain” is the main theme. It starts on a soft, gloomy track. Worth listening carefully with acoustic guitar and emotional vocals. It’s definitely emotional. Jaehyung seems to cry during the role. Woosung’s hoarse voice is very special and pleasant. If you want a song that makes you cry, this could be it.”
