10. Black Leather
“This is not only the best song on here, this is one of Guns N’ Roses best songs (probably my twelfth favorite.). This sounds so much like a Guns N’ Roses song that I was actually surprised to learn that this wasn’t original. Everything about this is perfect, from the singing style to the riff to the lyrics, everything is right with this”
9. Buick Makane / Big Dumb Sex
“This is actually a combination of two different choruses; Buick MacKane and Big Dumb S*x. Only half of this is good. The Buick MacKane bit is pretty boring, but the Big Dumb S*x section is done far better than the original done by Chris Cornell. Interestingly, Big Dumb S*x is supposed to be making fun of hard rock bands like G’ N’ R’. Originally done by T. Rex and Soundgarden respectively.”
8. New Rose
“This would have been a far better start to the album. It is a very fast punk-sounding song. It fits the Guns N’ Roses sound perfectly, just like a few others on here. Originally performed by The D**ned. My only real problem is that it feels far too short. But, if the one problem you have with something is that you want more, it’s not a bad thing.”

7. Human Being
“This is one of the highlights of the album. It’s the longest song on here at 6:48 (with the far-worse Ain’t It Fun in second with 5:06) but it doesn’t feel like it’s dragging. This actually sounds like something Axl would write, along with a few others on here. His voice is perfect and the riff is amazing. Originally done by the New York Dolls.”
6. Attitude
“This is the shortest song on here and the one that doesn’t sound like a Guns N’ Roses song in any way. It’s a fast British punk song with a profane chorus. Originally done by the Misfits.”
5. Down on the Farm
“This song is not great, but not bad either. Axl’s voice doesn’t sound right at all. It sounds like he’s trying to sound English. It’s actually pretty irritating at some points and I really wish he had sung it normally. Originally done by the U.K. Subs.”

4. Ain’t It Fun
“The only slightly redeeming quality is the riff. Axl is joined by Michael Monroe for this piece, by the singing style is awful. They both strain out their lines and the lyrics are the complete opposite of Guns N’ Roses “drink and f’ and get on the lam” signature style. Originally done by the Dead Boys/Rocket From The Tombs (written while he was in RFTT, released when he was in Dead Boys[TWSS].)”
3. Raw Power
“Another highlight of the album! This is a fantastic song that is made even better by Axl’s screaming vocals and Slash’s/Izzy’s wailing guitar..”
2. Since I Don’t Have You
“This is not a great start. This is a rather dull piano ballad. It sounds like a joke in the opening with the ridiculously bent strings and high-pitched piano. Originally done by the Skyliners. This song kind of reminds me of Chinese Democracy favorite Catcher In The Rye.”
1. Hair of the Dog
“And the album has been picked up! It’s basically smooth sailing from here on out, but Hair Of The Dog is one of the best songs on here. It doesn’t sound like a Guns N’ Roses song, but they made it work oh so well, just, so beautifully! It brings a tear to my eye /sarcasm! Originally done by Motley Crüe.”
