10. Tracy Lawrence

“TL seems to get a hard time from Country Fans, he often gets lumped with lesser talents, but in my mind this guy has a great voice and has released some great material over the years, he’s always stayed close to his country roots and never sold out (although his last album is a little too rock for me). On this album we get more of TL doing what he does best some laidback love songs and some hardcore crying in your beer honkytonk ballads. The standout are “getting back” and “I won all the battles”. A excellent TL release.”

9. Time Marches On

“Real disc, country music without frills. A classic of the genre has undoubtedly possessed. A deep path and reference agreements in gender. “Time Marches On” is a nice album with some classic Country tunes, such as “If You Loved Me”, “Time Marches On”,”Stars Over Texas” and “Is That A Tear”

8. Then & Now: The Hits Collection

“Tracy Lawrence has a unique voice that captures the essence of each of the songs with an evident twang. It can be easily said that Lawrence has made a career out of knowing good country songs, and he has written some of the best of them.”

5. Lessons Learned

“This is a great album, Tracy is one of the icons of country music! This album futures a lot of his music that you normally will never hear on the radio. I strongly recommend this album to any country music fan.”

4. I See It Now

“Tracy Lawrence is a wonderful country singer, and this album is a testament to that fact. The opening title track is one of my favorite country songs of the era. This album is an alright listen. Average for Tracy Lawrence but TONS better than other country albums you could possibly listen to today.

3. For The Love

“Tracy has not disappointed his fans. The songs are great – the choice of material is great – even the cover is great. I was very happy to hear he was putting out a new album and the wait was worth it. Having Tim and Kenny singing with him is just icing on a truly great cake!!”

2. Alibis

“This was TL’s second album, and almost as good as his first. From a commercial point of view this was more succesful with 4 No.1’s. The album also went double platinum. There are some great songs – “Can’t break it to my heart”, “Alibi’s”, “My second home” & “Don’t talk to me” all of which deserved to be big hits. Again the sound is great and country through and through. The two rockier/faster numbers are worth listening to, “I threw the rest away”, is great and should have been a no.1, but I don’t really like the “Good die young”, which surprising, went to no.1. Throughout TL’s vocals are top-notch.”

1. Sticks And Stones

“This was TL’s first album and it was an amazingly solid first album. It was an album that pleased both the modern country fan and the more traditionalists as well. The production and overall sound are excellent thanks to producer James Stroud. The songwriting is particularly good, they really chose some great titles. The slow numbers have a very country feel, carried along by TL’s great voice, that carries a lot of feeling.”
