Twice Albums Ranked
Twice (Korean: 트와이스; RR: Teuwaiseu; Japanese: トゥワイス, Hepburn: To~uwaisu; commonly stylized in all caps as TWICE) is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Twice was formed under the television program Sixteen (2015) and debuted on October 20, 2015, with the extended play (EP) The Story Begins. Twice is the first female Korean act to simultaneously top both Billboard‘s World Albums and World Digital Song Sales charts with the release of their first studio album Twicetagram and its lead single “Likey” in 2017. With the release of their single “Feel Special” in 2019, Twice became the third female Korean act to chart into the Canadian Hot 100. After signing with Republic Records for American promotions as part of a partnership with JYP Entertainment, the group has charted into the US Billboard 200 with More & More and Eyes Wide Open in 2020 and Taste of Love and Formula of Love: O+T=<3 in 2021. Their first official English-language single, “The Feels”, became their first song to enter the US Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart, peaking at the 83rd and 80th positions of the charts, respectively. They have been dubbed the next “Nation’s Girl Group”, and their point choreography—including for “Cheer Up” (2016), “TT” (2016), “Signal” (2017), and “What Is Love?” (2018)—became dance crazes and viral memes imitated by many celebrities. Here are all of Twice albums ranked.

10. Eyes Wide Open
“Twice continues their mature direction with a very 80s inspired record, in what may be their best effort to date. Of course, a review for a girl group as big as Twice is a must. Not only is it essential to understanding the current K-pop landscape (as they both follow and set trends), Twice has proved to deliver consistently. ‘Eyes Wide Open’ is no exception, as it is overflowing with infectious hooks and synthwave inspired production.”
9. Yes Or Yes
“Listening to twice’s discography, i ran into the problem thinking they were always one step away from greatness, that they needed that one song that would push them over the edge from good to great. i think “yes or yes” meets that qualification. listen to this “album” (read: ep) or don’t (read: do), but god damn, that song is great. “sunset” is definitely a career highlight too, it feels like the most that twice has come into a production style that perfectly fits them with no missteps. the bass in that song”
8. Summer Nights
“Summer is my favorite season. So when I heard Twice was doing a summer themed comeback, I was ecstatic! This album is a repackaging of What is Love. It includes all the songs on that plus three new tracks, one of which is the single Dance The Night Away. Trust me, you’ll have it on repeat, it’s amazing. The song Stuck, which was CD-exclusive for the What is Love album, is also included here.”
7. Feel Special
“Feel Special still feels like the sort of climax that proved Twice had fully transitioned from more than mere cute, bubbly bangers (not that their catalogue was 100% that, but still) and into full-on sophisticated territory. Many songs on this phenomenal EP exude confidence, class and maturity. The instrumentals many times allow for that, but it’s perhaps the composition itself lacking that bubblier approach this time around that makes many songs on here so shocking when compared to much of their previous work.”
6. &TWICE
“I think we can all agree in that, since the release of the Fancy You EP, TWICE has shown clear signs of evolution towards a more mature and complex sound. &TWICE is a great example of this. Fake & True and Breakthrough are safe, not too risky, great songs, that show TWICE’s ability to throw up hits. But in songs like Stronger, What You Waiting For and Changing!, we can hear a different, refreshing style, with really cool, atmospheric instrumentation (that includes strings and brass) and strong synths and bass lines.”
5. TWICEcoaster: Lane 1
“Within the span of one year, Twice went from being fresh-faced rookies to legendary household names. The single for this album, TT, became iconic almost immediately as well. The TT MV is still revered by Onces to this day. But TT isn’t the only song this album has going for it, there are several gems on here that you’ll be jamming to. Ponytail, Jelly Jelly, and 1 to 10 are among some of my favorites. At the time, this was the best album they had released and I am still enjoying the songs on it.”
4. Formula Of Love: O+T=<3
“This is definitely their best project since their 2019 magnum opus Feel Special. This album is consistent and well-written with catchy beats and memorable vocal performances. Tracks like F.I.L.A and HELLO really expresses very fun and playful elements this album portrays. Songs like ICONIC and LAST WALTZ are very wide and cinematic sounding tracks and immerses you in TWICE’s world. The whole album feels very heavy and packed with energy, a true masterpiece in TWICE’s discography”
3. BDZ
“As popular as it has been, Twice’s Japanese material has left a lot to be desired thus far. Pursuing a hyper cutesy motif, it’s only seemed to accentuate the group’s most cloying instincts. But the teasers for BDZ — the lead single from their first full J-pop album — seemed to promise something more mature. Many fans have been clamoring for Twice to pursue a sound closer to K-pop’s “girl crush” concept, and BDZ begins to dip its feet in those waters.”
2. Fancy You
“They smashed it! Every song is a bop! Finally all of the members get a chance to shine, you can really tell how much Twice has matured through this album. They maintain their classic charm whilst evolving. Lyrically and musically the tracks are quite uninspired, but it delivers what (k)pop should in every regard – catchy songs with strong vocals and uplifting beats. Also pleased to see that some of the members have been involved in the songwriting processes; even if the lyrics are the standard stuff, it shows a real determination and interest from the Twice girls.”
1. Twicetagram
“In 2017, TWICE found success internationally with the release of this studio album, “Twicetagram” with their lead single “Likey”. This album is one of the early TWICE albums where they still focused on their cute & adorable concepts.”
