ZDAN announces fourth studio album ‘SO WHAT!’ with fiery lead single ‘save me (rock n roll)’

Nashville-based artist Brandy Zdan has announced her fourth studio album ‘SO WHAT!’, set for release November 7, 2025 via Warner’s Revolution Distribution in partnership with War Buddha Records. With the project, Zdan officially adopts ZDAN as her moniker, shedding expectations and embracing a more defiant, rock-forward identity.

“This is about breaking down the barriers of gender and genre,” ZDAN explains. “I wanted to reflect how this record sounds—louder, freer, and unapologetically mine. It’s not just about who I am, but who I refuse to be boxed into.”

Leading the charge is ‘save me (rock n roll)’, a synth-laced, riff-heavy anthem that channels rage and resistance into a foot-stomping declaration of autonomy. The track speaks directly to ZDAN’s frustrations as a queer woman, mother, and artist navigating a regressive sociopolitical climate.

“When Roe v. Wade was overturned, it wasn’t just about me anymore—it was about my daughter,” she says. “This song is a way of fighting back, and giving her something to sing loud.”
