A.N.J.A. unleash dark, explosive new single ‘Mallory Knox’

Belfast punk rock outfit A.N.J.A. return with ‘Mallory Knox’, a brooding and hard-hitting new single that offers another glimpse into their forthcoming EP SINBIOTIC, due this July.

Inspired by the iconic character from Natural Born Killers, the track explores the destructive cycle of abuse and the psychological entanglement between victim and aggressor. Combining pounding rhythms, jagged guitar work and frontwoman Anja’s commanding vocal performance, ‘Mallory Knox’ balances raw intensity with an anthemic melodic core, creating a release that is both unsettling and exhilarating.

Drawing influence from post-punk, grunge and garage rock, A.N.J.A. have forged a sound that is dark, cinematic and emotionally uncompromising. Their fascination with horror imagery and folklore adds another dimension to their music, helping to create the immersive, high-impact performances that have become a defining feature of the band.

As the second single from SINBIOTIC, ‘Mallory Knox’ showcases A.N.J.A.‘s ability to combine powerful storytelling with explosive musicianship, reinforcing their growing reputation as one of Northern Ireland’s most exciting and uncompromising alternative rock acts.
