8. Alicia, 2020
“I haven’t been this excited about an album in years. Alicia did not disappoint. This body of work is so connected to what’s going on in the world it puts her purpose on full display and she steps up to the occasion. You will fall in love (maybe even with yourself), you will cry, you will dance. Oh and the lyrics are so beautiful. I’m pretty sure you will enjoy this whole album. I do.”
7. Unplugged, 2005
“This is Alicia at her best unplugged and live. All the tracks are outstanding and the track Wild Horses with that chap from Maroon 5 is outstanding. A must for all Alicia fans and people who are not sure about her, because after this you will be sure, brilliant”
6. Girl On Fire, 2012
“Alicia Keys (AK) took her time with this album. She conceptualized and was the executive producer of this album. Her maturity shows and she shares some wisdom in the lyrics. She is basically talking about the love she has around her and not to worry about what other people say about you. Most of the album is great for easy listening. There are some grown and sexy tracks that I added into my rotation for setting the mood.”

5. The Element Of Freedom, 2009
“I love this new disc from Alicia Keys. Every thing that Alicia puts out sounds fresh and unique. My favorite track is “Empire State Of Mind”. This is a song about how New York can be a source of inspiration. My other favorite track is “Wait Till You See My Smile”. This song makes me feel good, and it has a great beat. “Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart” is a beautiful cut. “Put It In A Love Song” is a upbeat duet with Beyonce. “This Bed” is a good dance cut. I like this song very much. “Distance And Time” is a pretty song. It is a romantic song. “Unthinkable” is a smooth and probably the most sensual track on the album. Alicia shines on the piano on the song “Doesn’t Mean Anything”. “How It Feels To Fly” is an uplifting song. Alicia wears her heart on her sleeve on the song “Love Is A Disease”. There is a honesty in her voice that makes her sound real. “Like The Sea” is another soulful gem of a song here. The Element Of Freedom is an excellent album.”
4. As I Am, 2007
“Alicia Keys is really showing what a great musician and song writer she is on this new cd As I Am. Her voice has so much depth and I absolutely love the song Another Way To Die which she does with Jack White who’s music I really enjoy too. There is a wide range of different music styles and arrangements on this album which is amazing.”
3. Here, 2016
“This is an awesome CD that shows the evolution of the artist as well as the musicianship of the bandmates. Topical and insightful with snippets of poetry all tied together into a coherent theme of album structure. One of her best efforts and I have all of her music!”

2. The Diary Of Alicia Keys, 2003
“We get a taste of Keys’ technical versatility, as a classically trained pianist, with the intro, “Harlem’s Nocturne.” Keys move gracefully between r&b riffs and popular classical tunes, adding flavor and edge as she progresses. This intro guides us gracefully through the pages of this woman’s musical diary. Whether she is spurning a selfish lover (“Karma”), encouraging emotional intimacy in a companion (“Diary”), or elaborating on her idea of a foundation for love (“When You Really Love Someone”), we are graced with the privilege of glimpsing her innermost thoughts.”
1. Songs In A Minor, 2001
“This is the debut that made a legend out of a young, classically trained pianist, by the name of Alicia Keys. It was the song “Fallin'” (from this album) that established her as the brilliant, musical genius that she is, to the general public. I have heard that song on a variety of formats of radio stations (R&B, soft pop, adult contemporary). This is just a representation of her accessibility and cross-over appeal as an artist. Of course, Alicia is far from a one hit wonder. That is made evident in “How Come U Don’t Call Me Anymore” (her interpretation of the song written by Prince, as an ode to love lost) and “A Woman’s Worth” (where she lays the groundwork for relationships and how it is about “give” and take”).”
