10. Andy Williams’ Greatest Hits
“Love listening to this type of music! Andy Williams and singers of his time had the smooth relaxing voice. not frantic, yelling, screaming, running around stage, jumping up and down. Love it! It’s for my personal enjoyment and it really is enjoyment.”
9. Solitaire
“Orchestrations and sound quality are first rate and Williams stays true to his form to deliver these songs. It might take several spins of the CD to truely appreciate this outing by Williams, but it grows on you and it is better than some of his earlier albums, which are now available on CD. It’s clear his voice has more nuances and shading since his early days, which finds some of his renditions harsh.”
8. Moon River And Other Great Movie Themes
“Film scores (as opposed to “song soundtracks”) tend to get a bad rap, and the reasons baffle me a bit. To each his or her own, I suppose, but film scoring is an art unto itself, and I really appreciate the composers who can write one that not only supports the movie, but stands on its own away from the film.”
7. Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head
“Totally awesome underrated album. By far and away Williams’ best. I will typically like 1 or 2 songs off of each of his albums but I like almost every song here, and to me The Today Medley and his version of Bridge Over Troubled Waters are his 2 best songs. I actually like his version of the latter more than the original and that is saying a lot!’
6. Newest Hits
“Andy Williams really shines in this two-for-one CD with beautiful orchestrations and incredible singing. Even “On the Street Where You Live” becomes a romantic ballad with this special artist. This CD will be one of your most played CD’s when you get it – just as advertised, this is a very warm and romantic song compilation. “
5. Can’t Get Used To Losing You
“I have no idea how the crooning pullover Andy Wiiliams got to sing this classic Pomus-Shuman song, but what a good job he makes of it. To be fair, even I would have a job ruining this number as it has such a fantastic arrangement, especially that combination of pizzicato strings and clipped guitar notes.”

4. Andy Williams Sings Steve Allen
“For the old die-hard Andy Williams fan, this CD explains why Andy became so successful so quickly in the late 50’s and early 60’s. His voice is so clear and so smooth, one can easily predict stardom for this amazing baritone!”
3. Lonely Street
“Most songs have an adequate, if not captivating, piano accompaniment; some have other interesting additions, like accordion; all are smothered in a million strings that play nothing particularly interesting. Many of these songs would have worked with just piano or piano trio or some other form of small combo. Too bad he wasn’t using one of Sinatra’s arrangers. This is a quibble really though, the vocal performance is good enough to make this album an enjoyable listen.”
2. Andy Williams
“If you’re even a moderate fan of Andy Williams, you’ll recognize most of the titles here. And if you’re such a passionate fan of his that you can think of any other songs closely associated with Andy Williams just off the top of your head, you probably already own them all and don’t need this CD.”
1. The Andy Williams Christmas Album
“One of my favorite Christmas albums of all time. Andy Williams’ voice is pure gold, and the instrumentations are jovial and greatly represent the happiness of the Christmas season. I appreciate the blend of both secular and religious songs as well. And I love the little tint of reverb in the 1963 production; gives it a true “wintery” flair. I highly recommend this album if you want to get in the spirit.”
