10. Jesus Slaves (Disobey, 2018)

“Production is stellar, vocals are rare and unforced, musicians technical and tight, but this is not forced down your throat heavy. There’s emotion and purpose throughout this album. Not everyone will like it but everyone will walk away with several riffs stuck in their head.”

9. Run for Your Life (Disobey, 2018)

“Interesting note choices. I am digging what the writing style of these guys. Not everything is just darkness, dark, black, types of tones, feel, and lyrics.”

8. Hear Me Now (Disobey, 2018)

“Hear Me Now” meanwhile is another great, melodic, and radio-friendly-sounding ballad that showcases Tommy’s incredibly melodic voice once again throughout as he just pours out every single ounce of pure melody and emotion throughout the song here. The guitars are very melodic too, and the drumming is also absolutely spot on and on point in every spot. Such a brilliant ballad this song is.”

7. Better the Devil (Disobey, 2018)

“Better the Devil” is highlighted by more nicely sung melodic verses that give way to relentless, rap-like choruses that feature some fast, aggressive, raps and screams from Vext, and I also like the pummeling guitar riffs and bone-rattling double bass drums that are included in the choruses too as well. Another awesome song here.”

6. Remember When (Disobey, 2018)

“Remember When” is another great song, and another one of the album’s singles that lyrically reflects on all of life’s past mistakes and the lessons learned afterwards. Tommy’s vocals during the verses are a bit on the rappish side as he lends some really catchy and nice melodic-like rap vocals, and of course he lends his amazing melodies during the chorus which is also amazing too as well.”

5. Toast to the Ghost (Disobey, 2018)

“The chorus on “Toast to the Ghost” is just absolutely stunning, even featuring some wicked blast beat drumming by Boecklin, and more of Tommy’s stunningly powerful vocal deliveries as well.”

4. No Masters (Disobey, 2018)

“Digging the Sabbath style of riffing here. Awesome med-tempo track. Vocals are on point. Bridge has some cool tones with emotional melodies. Seems to be touching on slavery or oppressive governments.”

3. Officer Down (Disobey, 2018)

“Officer Down” lyrically also tackles the flaws in the police system, especially with all the violence towards and by police officers themselves as well. This song is certainly an awesomely heavy opener, and is also one of my favorite songs on the album too.”

2. Learn to Live (Disobey, 2018)

“Learn to Live” is a mammothlike heavy, wall crusher of a track that boasts plenty of massive, wall crushing, and stereo pounding, djent-ish style riffing, clearly reminiscent that of Meshuggah, plus heavy, crushing, and pounding double bass drums and bass lines, and harsh, aggressive. and brutal vocals all being bolstered throughout respectively, and the chorus here in this song is just pure bliss with incredible, soaring, melodic clean vocals as well, and it truly shows Tommy Vext’s amazing melodic vocal abilities. “

Bad Wolves – Zombie Lyrics | Genius Lyrics

1. Zombie (Disobey, 2018)

“This is unquestionably one of the best covers I’ve ever listened to in my life, and yes, Delores no doubt certainly would be mighty proud indeed. The piano intro, in the beginning, is really sad and melancholic, and you can hear and feel the sadness and heartfelt emotion in Tommy’s voice throughout here, and that chorus is so powerful that it pounds right your stereo speakers harder and louder than the sound of thunder, and lead guitarist Doc Coyle also sprinkles on a very nice guitar solo for good measure too as well at the 2:45 mark.”
