12. Granddaddy’s Gun
“Blake Shelton is an outstanding singer, performer and a true believer in his work. His personality in public performances is outstanding, along with the great voice he using to let others know what country music is all about.”
11. Boys ‘Round Here
“Blake Shelton…that’s all you really have to say about this CD. This guy is great…the bad boy with the innocent face and the dimples that go on forever! However, the important thing is that he can really SING, and he ALWAYS stays true to his roots!”
10. Ten Times Crazier
“Interesting country album, as it varies a bit. Most tracks will be your normal country/western, but a one or two have quite strong rock notes with one almost having a slight punk edge as for the attitude.”
9. Sure Be Cool If You Did
“The track “Sure be Cool if you did” is a sort of power ballad that Country radio loves. Its not bad but very pop/rock, sort of the music I heard in the 80’s from Chicago or Journey.”

8. Ten Times Crazier
“I enjoyed the album and in particular there are a couple of very good songs that I like very much. There are also a couple of them that I would just as soon not listen to very often.”
7. Do You Remember
“Do you remember” is another version of the power ballad, which starts slowly and builds up to a crescendo at the chorus. The lyrics are country, but the sound is that of a rock ballad. I don’t dislike it, and it does grow on you – plus its better than “sure be cool”.
6. Lay Low
“What a great guy with a wonderful voice. This is the first album I have purchased of his. I did it for a couple of reasons. I have fallen in love with his personality and sense of humor on The Voice. “
5. Small Town Big Time
“Most of the tracks have a pleasant country-pop/rock sound – not country music – and lyrics about life in the country. “Small town big time” is one of the better tracks, if not the best track.”

4. I Still Got a Finger
“The song “I still got a finger” is pretty good, covering the same ground as David Allan Coe’s “take this job and shove it”. One of the possible high points of the album, but that is a pretty low high point!”
3. Country on the Radio
“A more country sounding banjo intro with a little fiddle, “Country on the radio” is again all about life in a small town and modern “country” life – in fact, this is track four put to a different backing.”
2. Doin’ What She Likes
“Blake is a successful artist he knows his audience and what they want. Even if you aren’t a Blake Shelton fan, which until of late I wasn’t, this is a good cd to break into his music. The songs are well thought out and put together.”
1. My Eyes
“It’s a wonderful upbeat CD and the arrangement of the songs are great. I Don’t recommend listening to it before bed because you will want to dance, laughing. It would be a way to get going in the morning.”
