10. Noise Vs. Beauty (2014)
“The album from start to finish is an incredible, solid banger, drop it in your deck or mp3 player and just zone out or rock out. It has some poppy/catchy phrases, it has some real dirty bass, it even brings it back down a bit to let you catch your breath. The price is right for something I’m sure you, like me, will listen to 100’s of times over and over again.”
9. Motions Of Mutation (2003)
“Overall I really enjoy this album, I find it’s a nice mixture between in your face almost pop tracks to more adventurous electronic jams. Bassnectar is easily one of the most inventive producers out there and this album is a pretty great entry into the artist for first listeners.”
8. Mesmerizing The Ultra (2005)
“If I had to pick just one Bassnectar to have on a deserted island it would be this one. It has something for everyone: excellent longer (but not super long “trance-y”) dance licks (I hate it when a song has a good groove and it’s 3 minutes long. You just start to get into it and then it’s…done!), introspective deep brain grooves, verbal samples that make you think, some experimental stuff…a little of everything!”

7. Into The Sun (2015)
“I love this DJ/producer. His bass is perfect for the club dance floor and his music gets often heavy rotation on my online dance radio station. Just about anything he drops is good. If you like the bass and you like to hear your sub kick, this is a good tune to test with.”
6. Diverse Systems Of Throb (2004)
“I have listened to all of the Bassnectar albums, and this is one of my favorite yet. It has beats that go hard on some songs with crazy drops. Other songs are very relaxed and soothing to the ear. It has it all.”
5. Wildstyle (2010)
“I think this album moved me more than Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories. I like the creative synth use and the modulated bass movement. The whole album is great. If rock stars listened to this album then maybe the rock station would sound like it did in the early 00’s.”
4. Vava Voom (2012)
“I love this cd! It is amazing and even better live! Bassnectar never lets me down!! 😀 I would recommend this cd to anyone who loves Bassnectar and I would recommend this cd and Bassnectar to anyone who loves dubstep. This cd has some awesome remixes and some awesome new music. Lorin takes a whole new path with this cd but I love where it takes me”

3. Underground Communication (2007)
“I do not know how Electronica music is subdivided these days, so I wouldn’t attempt to classify this album other than fun. Bassnectar mixes various types of music samples and makes it work. Sometimes you can tell where the sample comes from, but sometimes it is tweaked and processed in very inventive ways, you cannot tell is from another tune.”
2. Divergent Spectrum (2011)
“I love this album. It’s way more diverse than most dubstep albums (and yes, I consider Bassnectar dubstep). His remix of Gogol Bordello’s “Immigraniada” is one of my favorites. He doesn’t so much remix the track as interrupt it, but it will definitely have you bobbing your head. His remix of Ellie Goulding’s “Lights” is another highlight, albeit of the more chill variety. “The Matrix” is another personal fave. Clocking in at 15 tracks, you’d think this album would drag at the end, but Bassnectar keeps it tight the whole way though. I love listening to this album on my headphones while I ride down the beach bike path.”

1. Cozza Frenzy (2009)
“Great Album, one of the better “dubstep” or electronic albums out there. Meanders through a soundscape that will leave your speakers blown and your mind wanting more. Blast out speakers because you are the seeker? Why not, it is great. Lorin has a classic on his hands and I can’t say I will tire of this. The replayability is there. Basshead.”
