15. River (Nine Track Mind, 2016)

“This song has escaped many people’s attention, neither would everyone appreciate it. But I’ll say that it’s one of the masterpieces of Charlie Puth. It’s calm and melodious, and the harmonization was at its best. Charlie Puth fans should definitely give it a shot, and I bet, it wouldn’t go in vain.”

14. I Won’t Tell a Soul (Nine Track Mind, 2016)

“Really like this song. Voicing is superb! The arrangement is nice, as is the melody line. Can listen to this over and over.”

13. Look at Me Now (Ego, 2013)

“When it comes to the flashback of Charlie’s old days when he started to play the piano and sing I really burst into tears, I saw a man who works hard and loves what he does and finally paid off for everything, Charlie is such a great and adorable human being, thanks for bringing to me so much inspiration and joy”

11. The Way I Am (Voicenotes, 2018)

“I love this song so much and he sounds even better singing it live! This song actually tells a story that it doesn’t if you hate me or love me and I don’t care and that yeah, I can get nervous and a little shy and that’s just the way I am. Go Charlie!”

10. Marvin Gaye (Nine Track Mind, 2016)

“Pretty nice duet! Catchy song with great harmonies! Lyrics are a little juvenile but works after a couple of times listening. It was my first time hearing of Charlie Puth. Since he paired up with Meghan, who I love, I gave it a listen. He has a good voice and a nice falsetto. I will have to check out other stuff from him!”

9. Dangerously (Nine Track Mind, 2016)

“The Best Song EVER! I mean seriously, the pitch is perfect, it is so catchy and the lyrics are so beautiful and meaningful. Such a masterpiece! I listen to it everyday!”

8. Then There’s You (Nine Track Mind, 2016)

“The lyrics are meaningful and your voice is so melodious that it makes the lyrics so beautiful. I don’t think I need background music to listen to your songs, it’s so melodious on it’s own.”

7. One Call Away (Nine Track Mind, 2016)

“Really great song! Charlie has a great voice and these lyrics are very sweet and loving. It’s an uplifting song about caring about someone so much that you’re just “one call away””

6. Done for Me (Voicenotes 2018)

“There are a lot of things I love about this song. The rock-solid production, the hooks, the high quality synths, the vocal performances, but I think that one of the things I love most about this song is the balance of it. I love how, rather than the song only focusing on Charlie airing out his grievances against his lover, it shifts attention to the girlfriend and gives her side of the story. I know that complimenting a Charlie Puth song for being a female duet is ironic given that one of the most hated and reviled songs of the 2010s was a duet between Charlie and a female artist, but the vibe on this song is completely different. Rather than sounding like a bland, sterile, and unsexy song about sex with cringe-inducing Marvin Gaye references, this is a slick, smooth song about a disagreement in a relationship. It works surprisingly well.”

5. Boy (Voicenotes 2018)

“It is his most shifting, and warm production, and the chorus is very odd. The fact that he says “like a boy” and leave that little bit of space makes it memorable, and a little different. I like that. The the mix is spectacular as well. I think he really was on one when he made this as he included the falsetto tag (when he repeats boy and goes up the scale to then come back down). Voicenotes as an album (save for “change”) that is almost perfect when it comes to what he was trying to accomplish.”

4. How Long (How Long, 2017)

“LOVE this song! I had my mom listen to this song and now she is hooked and downloaded it herself. Love the upbeat melody, and you will find yourself dancing the way Charlie Puth dances on his music video “

3. We Don’t Talk Anymore (Nine Track Mind, 2016)

“I am irrevocably in love with this song. The way it envelopes you despite your immediate surrounding into it’s calm and melody is amazing. I can listen to it anytime regardless of my mood and this makes it the best.”

2. Attention (Voicenotes, 2018)

“This is undoubtedly Charlie’s greatest hits ever with the completely different Pop Rock style unlike his previous records. The clever mixture of the bouncy bass line of the Viola bass and the sad lyrics puts the listener to heartbreaking mood but forces their body to dance bringing a complete change to mainstream pop.”

1. See You Again (Furious 7: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, 2015)

“This song is pure perfection. Coming from a sad place being a tribute to the numbing shocking death of Paul Walker it is for me the first such song that is not schmaltz, not over the top and instead is so raw with true passion it makes you stop and listen to the words with each listen. Not many songs can do that. It pays special tribute to Paul Walker from all who loved him while also being a tool for all who listen to experience their own personal losses. It is expertly performed by rapper Wiz Khalifa and the gifted singer Charlie Puth. I am a huge Charlie Puth fan and he was a cowriter and coproducer of this song as well as performing on it. He continues to impress me with his writing skill, vocal talent and true sincerity in passion for music. This song is indeed a must own.”
