5. Tried And True (2010)

“Tried and True is a beautiful album. I grew up with this music with songs by Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, etc. Clay does a superb job and I hope he will come out with more and more and more for I will be there to buy everything he does. I can see no wrong when it comes to Clay. He is ‘THE MAN’ and all the hoopla about his being gay doesn’t do one thing to take away from the fact that Clay has a most fabulous voice and his humility and everything about him makes us love him even more.”

4. Steadfast (2012)

“I love hearing a song where you can understand all of the lyrics. This is a song that will have you swaying to the music and singing along. It has a bit of a retro vibe which I really love. Clay sings these with such ease and passion. You here here the depth and amazing quality in his voice . Each song showcases his range beautifully. Enjoyment for a lifetime. My mother enjoys as much as I as generations to come, classic and timeless.”

3. On My Way Here (2008)

“I have enjoyed Clay Akin’s voice and style on his previous albums, but they were not at the top of my “playlist.” But this is a very different album in a number of ways. He has the same great voice, but this album is filled wit songs that have real meaning. In every song you can hear that he is saying something from the heart, and it seems to be very personal. This is the mark of an excellent artist — he makes the listener feel what he is singing. If you like his style with the ballads and great vocals then I would wholeheartedly recommend this album.”

2. A Thousand Different Ways (2006)

“Clay Aiken uses his Signature voice to infuse new life into a selection of 10 popular classic and timeless love songs. He also adds 4 new soon to be classic originals. I must admit that I was concerned with the choice to feature mostly cover songs on this album. However, being a fan, I have come to recognize his uncanny ability to take a previously recorded song and totally make it his own. He doesn’t disappoint with this album and in many ways far exceeds any preconceived expectations.”

1. Measure Of A Man (2003)

“Clay Aiken has also proven with the making of this album that he is not a flash in the pan artist but a new “musical messiah” that we have been patiently waiting for since the eras of Sinatra, Elvis and The Beatles have now faded into the music history books. Finally RCA has listened to the masses and given us an artist that is truly talented and doesn’t feel a need be half dressed, gyrating and yelling out vulgar lyrics in order to get the audience to listen. I would be hard pressed to say that I have a favorite because after listening to the CD a couple of times I find that I like them all. Clay, like myself, is a native North Carolinian but this would not have made a difference in how I view his music if it had been substandard.”
