11. Psychotron

“Psychotron is an interesting one and it sounds like a rock song you’d hear in a movie. The guitar sounds really cool on this one and the drums are in time with the music which makes it even better. Dave’s vocals are also really fun to listen to.”

10. High Speed Dirt

“You’d also expect High Speed Dirt to be quite heavy. Well you’re 50% right and 50% wrong. It’s heavy, but quite groovy at the same time. And that’s only half the reason why this song is great. Dave’s vocals are also really perfect and so are the guitar and drums which fit the music really well. The lyrics are also really fun as well.”

9. Captive Honour

“Captive Honour has some really interesting lines spoken during the songs that are really funny and arguably the best thing about the song and the guitar oddly fits with the audio. The drums are great like always and the chorus is pretty brilliant. Overall a good track.”

8. This Was My Life

“This Was My Life reminds me of a secret place. I don’t know why, this song and that other song have nothing in common despite the song that they’re all really soft. Nevertheless, it’s still really good. The drums are pretty cool and the guitars are really good. Dave also has this really cool vocal effect that I really enjoy.”

7. Architecture of Aggression

“Architecture Of Aggression is one of the band’s most underrated tracks. It has that groovy atmosphere that I really like and the intro just hypes me up a lot. It also makes a really good workout song. The guitar and drums are pure perfection and so are dave’s vocals.”

6. Countdown to Extinction

“Countdown to Extinction is like a heavy version of a ballad. The guitar work is oddly fitting for a song like this. With a title like “Countdown to Extinction” you’d expect this song to be extremely heavy and brutal but it’s not. It’s still great, however. The drums are quite unique and so is Dave’s vocals which is a good thing.”

5. Foreclosure of a Dream

“Foreclosure Of A Dream is weaker than the previous tracks but it’s still OK. The guitar and drums are extremely soft and dave’s vocals don’t really do it for me. Also, I don’t really like the acoustic guitar solo. Overall an OK song but this album could’ve down without it.”

4. Skin O’My Teeth

“Skin O’ My Teeth is a really fun track and a great introduction to the album. It’s also oddly catchy, for some reason after I listen to the album I can’t get this song out of my head. It’s that good. The guitar work is really great and the drums fit perfectly with the song. Dave’s vocals are also incredible.”

3. Sweating Bullets

“Sweating Bullets is the album’s biggest highlight and my personal favourite off the album. This is Dave’s best vocal performance, it’s basically him talking to himself which is pretty fun to listen to. And the guitar and drums fit perfectly with the music. Overall really good.”

2. Ashes in Your Mouth

“Ashes In Your Mouth is one of the best finales to a Megadeth album. I didn’t like the song at when I first listened to it but then it just grew on me. The drums have kind of a matrix-style feel to them that I really enjoy and the guitar work on this track just makes me want to fight someone. Dave’s vocal performance is also really enjoyable.”

1. Symphony of Destruction

“Symphony Of Destruction is one of the most well known metal songs of all time. And for a good reason, too. I always find myself getting hyped up when listening to the song. The guitar work is really, really angry and awesome and the drums are really cool. Dave’s vocals also fit the music perfectly. Overall a great track and definitely worthy of it’s praise.”
