Cover Zero challenge society’s definition of success with electrifying new single ‘Salutatorian’

Rising alt-rock outfit Cover Zero deliver a compelling combination of infectious guitar-driven energy and thought-provoking songwriting with their latest single ‘Salutatorian’.

Blending the rebellious spirit of classic rock ‘n’ roll with contemporary alternative influences, the track explores the uncomfortable realities of growing up in a society that places enormous importance on academic achievement.

Inspired by the experiences of a friend, the song examines how young people who dedicate themselves entirely to education can find themselves struggling to navigate adulthood, despite having achieved everything expected of them.

The creative force behind Cover Zero, Tyler Goldstein, questions whether conventional measures of success adequately prepare people for the challenges, relationships and unexpected opportunities that shape life beyond the classroom.

With its engaging musical approach and relatable subject matter, the single demonstrates Cover Zero’s ambition to create alternative rock that entertains while encouraging us to question familiar assumptions.
