DavichiĀ is a South Korean pop duo formed in 2008. The duo consists of vocalistsĀ Lee Hae-riĀ andĀ Kang Min-Kyung. Their name, āDavichiā, is derived from the Korean phrase āshining over everythingā (ė¤Ā ė¹ģ¹). The duo has released three studio albums and sixĀ extended playsĀ to date, and featured on several soundtracks for television dramas such asĀ BigĀ (2012),Ā Iris IIĀ (2013),Ā Itās Okay, Thatās LoveĀ (2014),Ā Descendants of the SunĀ (2016) andĀ Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart RyeoĀ (2016). ā&10 is a lush and sweet, but very one note album from Korean k-pop duo Davichi. Listening to it is like breathing in expensive perfume for 45 minutes . Itās nice at first, but by the end itās almost unbearable.ā
1. Amaranth
āItās been more than a year since I discovered Korean music and most of it still is K-Pop. When I checked the Korean charts, I always saw that there were a lot of ballad songs in the list. I never was a fan of ballads and slow music. Until recently I started watching some great Korean movies like My Sassy Girl, Windstruck, A Moment to Remember, Daisy, A Millionaireās First Love and so on. Typical for these films were the Korean ballads which frequently appeared around the sad parts. These movies made me really appreciate these songs.
