Dead Horse unleash unhinged new single ‘Dynamite’ ahead of debut album

London/Kent noise-garage trio Dead Horse crank the chaos to maximum on their explosive new single ‘Dynamite’, a riotous first taste of their long-awaited debut album Caught The Nonsense, arriving this September via Sister 9 Recordings.

A wild collision of post-punk abrasion, garage rock attitude and unpredictable bursts of saxophone, ‘Dynamite’ barrels forward on razor-sharp riffs, warped grooves and a gloriously off-kilter sense of humour. Equal parts confrontational and infectious, the track captures the beautifully chaotic energy that has become synonymous with the band’s live performances.

Consisting of Kevin Lennon, Josh Kemp and Duncan Clark, Dead Horse have carved out a distinctive identity by fusing mutant surf guitars, theatrical noise and absurdist lyricism into something that feels simultaneously reckless and meticulously crafted. Drawing inspiration from the raw intensity of garage punk and the satirical edge of modern post-punk, the trio continue to occupy a lane entirely their own.

Having previously introduced their sound through the Dead Horse I EP and Hot Martyr, the band now arrive at their most ambitious chapter yet. Recorded with Connor Jones at Humm Studios in Bristol and mastered by Shawn Joseph at Optimum Mastering, Caught The Nonsense promises to showcase the full scope of Dead Horse’s uncompromising creative vision.
