Door d’Or share expansive new single ‘What You Want’ ahead of debut album
Canadian alternative rock band Door d’Or have released their new single ‘What You Want’, the latest preview of their debut album The Exquisite Dream, due May 1, 2026.
Blending 90s alternative influences with elements of post-punk and psychedelic rock, the track unfolds with a shifting, dynamic structure. Moving between groove-led sections and more expansive guitar-driven moments, the song highlights the band’s balance between atmosphere and momentum.
Originally developed during the group’s early writing sessions, ‘What You Want’ has since evolved through collaboration, with new lyrical themes reflecting the complexities of the current global climate. The track also leans into a more exploratory sound, particularly in its extended closing section.
Produced by Juno Award-winning producer Colin Stewart, the single offers further insight into the band’s debut project, which draws on their improvisational roots while refining their studio sound.
