DÜÜL SUNS strip things back on soulful new single ‘Still I Do’

New York psychedelic soul outfit DÜÜL SUNS return with ‘Still I Do’, a warm, understated new single arriving through Declared Goods.

Following the group’s self-titled debut mini-album, the track presents a more restrained side of their sound. Rather than leaning heavily into sprawling psychedelia, ‘Still I Do’ takes the shape of a classic rock ballad, placing soulful songwriting, memorable melodies and the band’s vocal harmonies at the forefront.

The single has already become a favourite within DÜÜL SUNS’ live shows, where the quartet have steadily been developing a reputation for combining strong musicianship with an instinctive sense of groove. Their wider sound draws together the expansive rock of Pink Floyd’s Live at Pompeii, the hazy psychedelia of Night Beats and the rhythmic psych-soul associated with Khruangbin.

Led creatively by songwriters James Ruffino and Nick Grau, alongside bassist Kevin Muenzer and drummer Mikey Bostinto, DÜÜL SUNS have gathered growing radio attention throughout 2026, including support from KCRW, WFMU, East Village Radio and The SoCal Sound.
