20. You Know Where I’m At (Sweeter, 2011)
“Believable. This would have gotten higher marks except I think it would have been a better performance if he had poured more emotion into the recording. I think this could be a concert moment – spotlight, sparse instrumentation, and pushing the raspy, passion-filled vocals.”
19. We Both Know (Safe Haven, 2013)
“Perfect song. I agree. It’s a theme to Safe Heaven movie. I remember my life in that movie and that song makes me strong. Perfect song! Gavin excellence and her voice makes it amazing”
18. Run Every Time (Sweeter, 2011)
“Andrew Frampton co-write, it’s a bit predictable and not really memorable, but I wouldn’t turn it off if it came on the radio. I did find myself swaying a bit during the chorus.”
17. Who’s Gonna Save Us (Make A Move, 2013)
“I won’t pretend that I am not biased as I love Gavin!! But, I just opened this up this morning and I have listened to it non stop!! It has all the eclectic versatility that I absolutely love about him.”

16. Meaning (Chariot, 2003)
“Meaning” is a soft ballad with some of the most insightful and honest lyrics I have ever had the pleasure of hearing. With incredible imagery and heart warming depth, this song cant help but make you love love and question what is all about anyway.”
15. Fire (Fire, 2014)
“This is a great workout/ feel good/ feel confident song!!! I can listen to it on repeat. It is a different side of Gavin DeGraw and I like it. He is showing he can be different but still be good at what he does.”
14. She Holds a Key (Gavin DeGraw, 2008)
“Gavin has yet to write a poorly done ballad, and this song is no exception. A solid piano arrangement and softly moving melodies make this a definite song to download”
13. Make a Move (Make a Move, 2013)
“Make a Move is the fun, party side of him. Every person has a fun, devil may care side to their personality. Here’s the showcase of such a person. “Every Lit Bit, sounds like a person bruised by the pain of lost love who turns to addictive substances to ease the pain. “Different For Girls” highlights the stubborn male, who doesn’t really listen to the woman he’s trying to get close to.”
12. Cheated on Me (Gavin DeGraw, 2008)
“Gavin slows the tempo down on this number as the mood of the song takes on an eerie undertone with searing guitar riffs and emotional lyrics.”
11. Belief (Chariot, 2003)
“Going through a very rough patch right now n this song is what puts me through every day. I can’t say more. I absolutely love this song. It is so good that he realty should have released this as a single.”
10. Radiation (Sweeter, 2011)
“A perfect song for the great audience, and there’s few people that can capture the audience like Gavin! Pretty good song; interesting vocals; not a fan of the nah nahs again, although this one will probably be fun live.”
9. Best I Ever Had (Make a Move, 2013)
“SInger, Song Writer, and Cover Artist Steve Acho does a version of this song that is over the top, hands down, far better both in delivery of musical talent, and vocal ability. Sorry Gavin, but this is just my opinion, and I am but a single voice in the crowd among many followers of many genres of music. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.”
8. Sweeter (Sweeter, 2011)
“a Ryan Tedder co-write that misses; boring song with redundant beat and unremarkable vocals; should not have been first track. It’s not really representative of most of the rest of the record. If I hadn’t already purchased the CD, and this was the first song I heard, I would not have purchased the CD. The good news is most of the rest of the CD is better!”
7. Follow Through (Chariot, 2003)
“It’s very catchy and a little rocky, a little poppy. It’s hard to review music as it’s based on personal preference, but I like this song. It also makes great music for a dinner party in the background.”

6. Soldier (Sweeter, 2011)
“Plain and simple, just a beautifully produced song with a powerful meaning! It’s the song that will make me swoon if my special someone will sing it to me. I like the beat and the style…the way he twists the rhythms is insane…”
5. In Love with a Girl (Gavin DeGraw, 2008)
“Perhaps the most catchy tune on the disc, DeGraw starts off the album with this uptempo Pop-Rock anthem that incorporates a rocking guitar riff with fast paced vocal arrangements.”
4. We Belong Together (Gavin DeGraw, 2008)
“An amped up version of Gavin’s tune from the “Tristan & Isolde” soundtrack. For those who like the raw sound of the acoustic guitar driven original, you may not enjoy this version as much. For others who like a more produced rocking sound, this version will eclipse the original for you.”
3. Chariot (Chariot, 2003)
“Chariot” has a very complex piano accompaniment and fantastic, gripping lyrics that could speak to the heart of even the most jaded individual, reminding them once again of the magic of all things simplistic, earthly, and heavenly. A reminder of faith and strength of heart, “Chariot” brings the whole feel of the album home, summing up quite decisively the complexly minimalistic style that is the life and music of Gavin Degraw.”
2. Not Over You (Sweeter, 2011)
“I absolutely love this song! Listening to it right now! Gavin has such a way with words that I can’t really relate to. I can only listen to his golden voice over and over again! I think it is an awesome song. But the video gets a little to close on the girl a few times.”
1. I Don’t Want to Be (Chariot, 2003)
“This song sparked his career. He wanted to do his own thing and singing was it that’s why he wrote the song, like this actually means something to him, it’s not just some song. I mainly know it because of one tree hill but Gavin is such an amazing artist and this is a great song.”
