20. Eye of the Storm (When Legends Rise, 2018)
“This one has more positive energy than any of their previous recordings. You won’t feel the hatred and bitterness that drove all of their classics, but a steady and hard rock groove. When Legends Rise may be a new chapter in Godsmack History.”
19. No Rest for the Wicked (IV, 2006)
“At first I just thought this album would be good until I purchased it, and I am amazed. I really feel that they did a remarkable job on this album.”
18. Speak (IV, 2006)
“It’s a Godsmack classic. One of the greatest bands ever. This track gets your blood flowing. I wish all Godsmack songs were like this one. “Speak” is a great song by a great band! “Speak the Truth or make your peace some other way!”
17. Releasing the Demons (Faceless, 2003)
“A great comeback from the last track. It’s heavy for the most part, yes, but it’s also very catchy. The verses are quiet, and I like the lyrics. One of the best on the album.”

16. Mistakes (Awake, 2000)
“Mistakes” instrumentals are the best music you will ever hear in your entire life. The beginning of this song is better than crazy train by ozzy. If you want to know the real power of GODSMACK then listen to Mistakes.”
15. Running Blind (The Other Side, 2004)
“I think a very good highlight on this album would have to be “running blind” , I love that song, and i like how they made keep away acoustic, I didn’t think it was going to be that good, but it was, this cd rocks.
14. Keep Away (All Wound Up, 1997)
“Not metal and not cheesy. Just good solid rock. Keep Away is a more hella rock with no apologies. Good lyrics with attitude. For me, this is their best song! A personal favorite.”
13. 1000hp (1000hp, 2014)
“This song has been stuck in my head for many years now and it’s still great. The instrumentals are great as always and it one of my favorite songs. Listen to 1000hp and tell me this isn’t one of the best Godsmack songs of all time.”
12. Re-Align (Faceless, 2003)
“This song has a really powerful message to me – it’s about finding out life is tough and trying to work yourself from a desperate place. I like the guitar solo. You’ll probably expect this to be a general Godsmack heavy track for the first 40 seconds or so, but it starts kicking ass when the melodic part kicks in. After that, the whole track is changed for the better. One of my favorites on this album.”
11. I F**king Hate You (Faceless, 2003)
“As you can imagine, this is the album’s heaviest. But it’s really, really bland, and the lyrics are horrible (“For everything you do / I’d like to swallow you / And every day I’m gonna blame you”). This is definitely not the album’s best, but you might think differently.”
10. Love-Hate-Sex-Pain (The Oracle, 2010)
“Has a better intro that doesn’t start you out following the guild lines that a first impressions is a lasting impression and long with a strong chorus that is completely emotion-filled.”
9. Greed (Awake, 2000)
“While the lyrics are good and full of anger it’s definitely not the heaviest song lyrically. But as far as musically and vocally I think hands down no other song feels as aggressive and angry as this.”
8. The Enemy (IV, 2006)
“I think this should be godsmack’s number 1 song because it blew me away and some of my friends when we first heard it. Everything about this song is pretty much amazing.”
7. Serenity (Faceless, 2003)
“The quietest track on the album…it’s acoustic. I think they tried to pull off another “Voodoo” but this doesn’t quite cut it. It can be boring, but it’s not horrible. They could have made a better ending, though.”

6. Whatever (All Wound Up, 1997)
“This song really states life. It really states what people want to say to people they absolutely hate. I know a lot of people who hate their phone and want people to “go away” that this song would be perfect for their answering machine!”
5. Cryin’ Like a Bitch!! (The Oracle, 2010)
“This song reminds me of a lot of people I know… And hate. I love to listen to this song all the time when stupid idiots piss me off. It makes me feel so happy and it gets my anger out. There are a lot of songs ( all of them ) by Godsmack that relate to my life, and the people in it. If I had to pick a band to represent me.”
4. Voodoo (All Wound Up, 1997)
“Great vocals, great lyrics, great atmosphere. The song has an eerie- kind of spiritual/supernatural feel to it that reflects the mystery of Haitian Voodoo itself. The bass kicks you in the chest in this song. It’s just pure awesome.”
3. Straight Out of Line (Live & Inspired, 2012)
“It is one of the rockiness songs they have… When Sully yells straight out of line I don’t need a reason to justify my ways!”
2. Awake (Awake, 2000)
“This is such a brilliant song. Yes, of course I Stand Alone is a great and solid song, but Awake is even better in my opinion. That is due to the great melody and atmosphere of this song. Super great song.”
1. I Stand Alone (Faceless, 2003)
“I’m sure you’re aware of by now, this song was originally released on the “Scorpion King” soundtrack, which Sully produced. It’s gotten kind of old, but I still find it to be a very powerful song. Great lyrics. One might even say it’s inspirational. But this is probably one of their best when they play live.”
