5. Terrortory (2012)

“The album is easy to forget. There is nothing to hook you or make you want to give it another spin. Overall feeling is a bit tired actually. Made with a low budget, production is still pretty solid and beefy, although slightly muddy.”

4. Horror Fire  (2006)

“The dramaturgy of “Horror Fire” is well-thought. It seems as the first 9 songs are side “Horror” and the last 10 songs side “Fire”. So you get eerie and creepy, sometimes even epic, gothic power metal in the beginning, but the further this fine release goes, the harder the songs get. “Ways of Man” could appear in any Overkill’s album – and they would probably be proud to have a number like it.”

3. No One Gets Out (1991)

“Vocals are a touch over the top at times (falsetto stuff, mildly irritating) and there are some tricky arrangements here and there as well. THe band’s horror/sleaze approach generally works quite well, though, and for a very indie release, the production is just fine. Probably now one of the more coveted collectibles as well in it’s original press.”

2. Don’t Metal with Evil  (1985)

“This is the album that started it all. Halloween is a hard-rocking awesome band. I have had the pleasure of seeing them play live a few times and they never disappoint. I have every one of their albums and they all are great. There is no other band that will give you great metal and that creepy Halloween feel to the music except Alice cooper. I wait excitedly for Halloween to put out another album, every time they put one out”

1. Victims of the Night  (1997)

“Halloween’s biggest influences are Kiss, Wasp, Judas Priest, Twisted Sister, and early Mötley Crüe like JonFox mentions in his review. But like we all know, each of those bands made tons of classic songs, while Halloween uses the same monotone formula in every song.”
