10. Some of My Lies Are True (Sooner or Later)
“Rose-colored glasses aside, it was an entirely original work, and infused with elements of power pop, punk and surfer music (note the back cover). I found it catchier than their later efforts, which were clearly quite good on their own, but a bit safe compared to this album.”
9. Stop Trying
“This was Huey Lewis and the News’s first album. Yeah, it is definitely not as good as Sports and Fore! but what what do you expect? It is a group’s first album. Of course there are gonna be flaws.”
8. I Want You
“Huey Lewis and the News wrote and performed some of the best rock and roll in the 80’s and are still great to this day. In fact, they are still the most amazing live band you will ever see.”

7. Hearts
“I have to be honest…I thought Huey & The News would be a guilty pleasure today, being I was an unhip cheesy radio fan back in the 80s with no clue as to what was good music, as opposed to now, and I felt cheesy picking this up.”
6. Who Cares?
“This is by far their best album – pretty much the soundtrack to my senior year in high school. Rose-colored glasses aside, it was an entirely original work, and infused with elements of power pop, punk and surfer music (note the back cover).”
5. If You Really Love Me You’ll Let Me
“This album was made BEFORE the band started to play the pop charts (While it was still a club band in San Francisco). There is not a single track on this album I dislike and a number (If you love me you’ll let me go, And now here’s you, Some of my lies are true) that I still have stuck in my head 30 years after the album came out.”

4. Trouble in Paradise
“Totally worth the coin and a great value. I totally undermined this band, and now, I might actually get catalogue!!!! As for the first album not being represented at all…I agree it’s a fun first album”
3. Don’t Ever Tell Me That You Love Me
“Young people and pure rock n´roll. No complications for a good rock and roll record with little ambition and good vibe. Anyway, the music is simpler and more direct that in later records.”
2. Now Here’s You
“The song selection was too good to say no. Well, after immersing myself completely in this collection, Huey and the News overcame this stigma with class. I would say I was right all along!!!!”
1. Don’t Make Me Do It
“Huey Lewis knows what he’s doing. Anyone that even remotely likes the News, or any good music at all, should plan on buyng this cd. I’m not kidding people, Huey Lewis is for everybody”
