8. Ingrid Michaelson’s Songs For The Season (2018)
“Ingrid scores again with a beautiful Christmas album that takes me back to my childhood and decorating the tree with my grandparents. She combines classic Christmas sounds and songs with the occasional modern flare, all with her distinctive indie-style voice. My favorites on the album are Looks Like a Cold Cold Winter, Let It Snow, and Mele Kalikimaka; these are the songs that take me back to that homey, old-school Christmas vibe.”
7. Human Again (2012)
“Ingrid Michaelson has quietly been climbing the charts since her debut album, “Slow the Rain,” hit shelves on Jan. 10, 2005. Although the young singer/songwriter has yet to sell out any arenas with her often love-centric acoustic tunes, Ingrid Michaelson’s rabid fan-base has steadily and rapidly grown. Now five albums into her career, each of her records has outsold the last. Hitting number one on iTunes’ chart on the day of its release, “Human Again” is sure to continue this trend.”
6. Slow The Rain (2005)
“Love her voice, lyrics, melodies and especially her shows. She’s a great down-to-earth musician artist and her shows are reflecting that exactly. Listened first to her latest albums…then after attending her shows for the first time i was eager to get her first ‘sold out’ album “Slow the Rain” for my collection. In my opinion the songs are still in a different style – let’s say more kinda uncommercial – than most songs on the later albums.”

5. Lights Out (2014)
“With Ingrid’s last album being my favorite of hers as far as sound quality and her vocal abilities (and general catchiness of tunes like “In The Sea”), I was REALLY looking forward to this album release! Ingrid is an exceptional and completely underrated songwriter, and this album justifies that statement.”
4. Girls And Boys (2006)
“I’m glad I got this album because it’s great! It’s uplifting when it wants to be, sentimental and more downbeat when it wants to be, and she has a wonderfully sweet voice to boot. Plus, she is amazing live, and just because of that, she gets double the points from me! The one tiny disappointment that I have with this album is that it doesn’t include “Keep Breathing,” but it’s great nonetheless.”

3. It Doesn’t Have To Make Sense (2016)
“What a truly beautiful piece of art. This is an album about heartbreak (in all senses) & renewal. It’s about making peace with the past while learning to embrace the present. This is an album for anyone who is suffering through the sickness or loss of a loved one, anyone who feels outcast or misrepresented or who just wants/needs to feel empowered.”
2. Everybody (2009)
“After a listen through, “Everybody” leaves at least one lasting impression; that Ingrid is a very talented young woman. The songs have particularly powerful lyrics, and are cleverly composed rather than gimmicky catchy. The entire album has a very clean sound, leaving the individual instrumentation to stick out more, good job on whoever produced with her.”
1. Be OK (2008)
“Ingrid Michaelson has such an angelic voice. She has a voice that sounds as if it comes with no effort at all and never feels forced. She is young, but sings with the heart of an old soul. Ingrid… thank you for sharing your talent with the world. I am going to Be Ok just because of you.”
